After Trey and I told my dad the whole situation with an annoying Khalil present, my dad literally laughed at us. I was confused as to why they aren't taking this seriously because I am worried.

"He said they were coming for us because his brother showed up at his doorstep dead?" Dad asked.

"His ass should have been dead anyway," Khalil said.

I shook my head.

"This isn't a joke here," I said.

"Haha! It is!! He wouldn't have been dead if he hadn't put himself in sh't." Dad chuckled eating his orange.

"Exactly," Khalil agreed.

"Khali as far as I'm concerned you should've punched him in the throat." Dad laughed.

I blank faced him and that sent him in deeper laughter. Khalil and Trey joined. I was getting annoyed.

"Come on Khali, it ain't that serious. He wants war, we can more than give it to him. Just stay away from Dequan and who ever he's acquainted with. Okay? Just easy, it's Valentines Day tomorrow. Don't you and Trey got stuff to deal with?"

And just like that the whole Dequan situation had been put on the back burner.

Today is Valentine's Day and I woke up to breakfast in bed from Trey. His ass said he wasn't gonna do nothing for me today but his heart was too sweet for that. My mom came over and she wanted to bake with me, one of her favourite past times which became one of my favourites too. We ended up baking cookies for Trey and he, with his endless stomach, ate all of them in one go. My mom went and Trey and I decided to relax and watch a movie.

"Babe I want chocolate." I whined.

"You got money right?" Trey said.

I pouted and slapped his chest. He sounded like my Dad. In that moment, my phone rang. It was Alecia telling me we needed to go shopping to help Martina get something for Joey.

"I'ma go shopping with the girls. Martina wants something for Joey," I informed.

"Okay, remember I don't want nothing," Trey said with a stern look.

"Why can't I get you something?" I asked with a pout.

I realized I was only in my bra and I was too lazy to go upstairs for a shirt so I took Trey's shirt off him.
