My birthday ended up being great even though Kate was here I didn't mind her presence.
Me and Miles sat across from each other and I finished up a couple pages of school work.
Miles pov
She yawns arching her back and before I could tell myself to not say it.
"I could make you do that too"
"what?" She straightens herself.
"nothing"
"mhmm sure" She smirks at me.
"if you can make me do that do it" She chews on her lip. She moves her papers.
"come on Miles do it" She looks at me.
"Miles?" I snap out of my thoughts and I look at her.
"what did you say I didn't hear you"

"okay? well I'm getting tired of school work wanna do something?"
"yeah you" I said before I could think again.
"alright then" She sits herself on top of me.
She kisses me and I put my hands on her neck. She removes her lips from mine and kisses down my neck. I lift my shirt off and I start kissing down her. She lays herself back after taking off her top.
Someone knocks on her door. She sits up and moves away from me. She puts just her shirt on and I put on mine.
"come in" She yells at the door. Kate enters in.
"y/n what are you wearing"
"what Miles has seen me in way less" Kate rolls her eyes.
"well your school called about your suspension"
"you'd got suspended" She nods.
y/n's pov
"you strangled a girl and beat her up"
"so?"
"that's not okay"
"your not my mom"
"so you will treat me like your mom!" Miles looks at me shocked and I look at Kate pissed.
"I don't know who you think you are but your not my mom and I will never treat you with the amount of respect I treated her with if you want to be my mom go die she did" I say getting extremely close to her making her back up.
"get out of my room now" Kate stares at me with pure fear.
"go" I shove her. "before you disappear and people worry" She leaves shutting the door behind her.
"whoa where y/n at" Miles smirks
"dead with my mother" He smiles at me.

Me and Miles are always "aggressive" with each other around Kate to piss her off. The only bad thing is Flora is always with Kate.
I slam my lips on Miles'. I pull away.
"Kate is coming" I whisper in his ear and he nods. We continue on.
"Jesus Christ get off, breath"
"why should we" I say pulling away from Miles.
"cause you will die if you don't"

"listen today how bout we all go and get Flora a new koi fish in town"
"I can protect you but if you leave the house you die" I nod.
"eh I was hoping to stay home" I say.
"y/n were always here" Kate says.
"fine. be a bitch about it why don't you" Kate rolls her eyes.
"go get ready" I nod getting off Miles and taking Flora's hand.
"I can't leave y/n I'll die" Flora says as we enter her room.
"well I can ask if we can"

"it's the same with me but everything is okay" She nods. I go up to the mirror.
"can me and Flora go into town today? we can! thank you" I turn to Flora.
"see everything is alright"

Kate's car gets closer to the gate.
"I want out!" I say breathing heavy and Miles looks at me confused.
"me too" Flora says and I take off my seatbelt.
"what are you doing"
"I don't want to die!" I yell at Kate trying to open the child lock door.
"I don't want to die!" Flora cries out.

"Miles stop her!"
"stop the car" Miles says looking at me and Flora panicked.
"we're almost there?"
"Kate stop the car!" Flora starts sobbing and holds onto me.
"Kate!" I yell. We all start yelling different things at Kate.
"she's trying to kill us!"
"Miles stop her"
"Kate we're gonna die!"
"stop the car!"
"come on we're almost there" I look out the windshield seeing Quint.
"Miles!" I cry out and I try opening the door again.
"I don't want to die!"
"stop the car or I'll fucking kill you!" Miles yells and Kate stops the car, unlocking the door.
I push open the door and I pull Flora out with me. I walk over to Kate's side of the car.
"go to fucking hell cunt" I say, slamming my hand on the window making her jump. tears still pouring from my eyes.
"come on Flora" I pick her up and start walking up the dirt road.
"we won't leave or try to" Flora sobs and I wipe another tear from my eye.

"hey y/n I'm really sorry about today-" Kate says.
"you don't know when to stop! your here for the money so act like we scared you off and leave with the money it will do everyone here a favor" I sit up.

"okay now get out" I point to my door. She nods and walks out.
