Stephanie's POV

Well, guess!? I was rejected for the babysitting job, because apparently the kid was too energetic and "my physical constitution is not recommendable for such solicitating jobs". I mean come on! He is just a kid, and if the parents cannot manage him, that doesn't mean anyone else can't either, and I am not going to break in two if a I do a little bit of running, I am the star tracker at school. Jeez!

What should I do now? I have to be home by six, because I promised Katie to go with her at trick and treat, yes, it's Halloween day, and I have to dress in something, because my sister doesn't want me to just tag along her and her friends, she told them that her "cool sister" is going with them.Great, I didn't have any luck with jobs today, let's hope I will have enough to find a costume!

With this thought I went at the bus station, scrolling through my phone wanting to call home, but I came along Jenny's name, and I remembered my last conversation with her, after my father funeral:

"Anything you need, call me, and I am going to do anything I can to help you!"

Let me tell you something about her first: she is my cousin, my father's sister's daughter. My aunt died five years ago, and my parents helped her a lot, but she also received help from her father's boss who hired her at his company. Since then she always calls us to ask how we are and everything, but she is extremely busy and we haven't seen each other  for three months, but we text  pretty often. Anyway, I decided to call her to see if she can help me to find a job:

        -Hey Jenn!It's me Steph!

-Oi!Cuz!Great to hear you, but I have a pretty hectic day, my boss is hiring a PA, and I have to tend the crying, refused girls! she talked really fast and with a little iritation, but also a little amused.

-I was calling to see if you can help me find a part-time job, I need it urgent, because mom is exhausted! after I said that,on the other side was complete silence, at the beginning I thought we disconnected, but after a couple of minutes I heard a huff and she answered:

-Why haven't you said earlier?Come here, where I work, and hurry, in a half an hour the interviews will be over!

So fast? But I am not dressed properly for an interview at a big company!

        -Jenn! I am not prepared!

-Don't worry, I am going to prepare you, you just be here!

-Ok! I am on my way! I answered a little excited, but I looked down at my black jeans and my white and black striped shirt, at what I had white converses...definitely not a costumation for interview, but maybe my luck will change, so I hopped in the first bus who was going to center, so that I can get faster at Lingman Company.

In 15 minutes I was at the glass doors of the famous Lingman company .I swallowed the lump in my throat and stepped inside to see in a lobby, in front of a door, a mass of girls...all preparing: putting make up, smoothing skirts or dresses... ok, definitely not prepared... but from that mass, appeared my beloved cousin and when she spotted me, she jumped coming to hug me:

-Oh my God! I haven't see you in forever! How are you sweetie?

-I am good, just hunting jobs, for what I am, apparently, too scrawny! I answered truthfully, well, she was one of my best friends.

Jenny bursted in a fit of laughter, while everyone looked at us, and I just rolled my eyes: that is Jenny for you people, laughing at my unluck. When she recovered, she took me in her office, giving me from a closet a white shirt.I thanked her, and changed. And then she started, while going out, back in the lobby:
