(Cheryl's POV)
Today was like any other ordinary day I did my morning routine. My hair was in the same braid that it's in every day. And I was wearing some jeans and a T-shirt. I put my sneakers on, grabbed my bad and left out the house. I usually get bullied about how my hair stays in a braid or how I dress. But the halls were quite empty until I saw a very unfamiliar person. She had brown hair with pink streaks, her face had the lightest freckles, she was very tiny which made her even more adorable, and she had a serpent jacket,and those glasses you couldn't miss.I didn't really mind the jacket though. I noticed she looked kinda lost she came up to me and asked "hey uhm I-I'm lost can you help me?" . I nodded not being able to speak. "So uh what's your name red" she asked I have not clue why but I blushed. I looked away from her and said "Cheryl,Cheryl blossom". "What's yours" I asked the pink haired serpent. "Uh I'm Toni Topaz" she said. That name is really cute. We stopped in front of her class which ironically was also my class. We walked in the classroom and I saw my bestie Kevin and my cousin Betty. I sat with them while Toni sat next to me . I saw that Kevin took out a notebook and I knew what was gonna happen so I took out a pencil . He gave me the note book and the page read 'did I just spy you walk into class with Toni Topaz the new girl ' . I wrote on the paper making it say 'well no duh Kev' . Sometimes Kevin just is dramatic as hell. Explains why he's so into drama. Anyways we stopped writing because it was almost lunch time m. I saw Toni again with 2 boys this time I wanted her to sit with me and my friends. "Hey stranger" I said smiling. When she turned around and saw me her face lit up lighter than the aesthetic lights in my room. "Hey Red these are my friends sweet pea and fangs". The Tall one said "I'm sweetpea" The smaller one must be fangs then. "So what's up Red" she asked, pushing me playfully. I blushed at the contact as did she. She moved her hand away from me and looked down with red cheeks "so I wanted to ask you if you wanted or you could sit with me and my friends over there" I said and pointed to Kevin,Betty,Veronica,and Josie. She nodded and said "but....." I rolled my eyes in a playful manner. "What now Topaz". She elbowed me and said "by friends have to sit here too". I nodded and we walked to my table. I was really nervous about them meeting my friends "Toni,Sweet pea,Fangs meet Betty,Josie,Veronica,and Kevin" . They all shook hands and we sat down. "So Toni you got any crushes yet?" Kevin asked. Me knowing what he meant kicked his shin. She blushed and looked down "uh yeah actually I do feel a little something here for someone". I looked down sadly thinking that she would never like me I don't even know if I like her, do I like her, as a friend or as a girlfriend? I don't know I'm stumped anyways after lunch I went home to see my mom cooking "hey sweetheart" she said coming to kiss my cheek "hi mom" I said. I was still smiling at the thought of Toni. My mom must've noticed "what's got you all smily" she asked . I blushed and looked away "Just a certain girl that I met today nothing that important". She smirked and came forward "Mhmm whatever" I elbowed her,she went upstairs and I went and got a snack. Ding dong the door bell rang."I got it". I yelled to her when I went to open the door I saw a familiar pink haired serpent "Hey T-Toni wh-what are you d-doing here?" I asked mentally face palming myself for stuttering. She just chuckled and said "well Red I came to see you" I blushed at what she called me "you gonna invite me in or?" She said shaking her head and laughing.For some reason when she called me red I blushed ughh this is so confusing.
