As they walked through the door to the restaurant, Nell held her breathe it was amazing. it was a quiet little bistro but classy all the same. A tall grey haired man was palying the oboe in the corner, humming quietly.
"You out did yourself, Beale" Nell gasped her mouth still half open as a waiter escorted them to their table which had candles on and was coverd in rose petals.
"You really like it" Eric asked his voice small.
"Of course i do, you did all this for me?" She leant up and kissed him on the cheek.
"Well it wasn't all my own doing Hetty helped" Eric explained puling Nell's chair out for her. He signed to the waiter to give them a few minutes.
"What was that?" Nell asked.
"I, um do you remember me telling you about my deaf friend"
"yeah you have known him since he was little"
"Well when i first started having feelings for you, which was about 2 years ago now. He told me that when i eventually asked you out, to bring you here. Hence why i have been teaching you sign language"
"Wow, you really did think of everything"
"Yep, I'm organised like that"
Eric called his friend over, he orderd himself a beer.
"What do you want Nell" Eric asked. "Remember, no alcohol" He chuckled.
His friend signed. Whats so funny.
Nell's pregnant and I'm teasing her about how she can't order alcohol Eric signed back.
While this exchange was going on Nell was racking her brain for the sign. She had it!
Lime Soda she signed looking very pleased with herself. She turned fully to her waiter. Has Eric really told you all about me. She asked.
We can't have a conversation without talking about you now, good signing by the way. He signed watching as Nell blushed.
