Citrus: Never again

Introduction

It had been exactly one whole year since Mei left Yuzu with a letter explaining why she was leaving Yuzu to marry Udagawa. Mei had left Yuzu in tears unable to face her only love. She was completely unhappy and didn't open up at all to anyone she meet over the year. She was still her beautiful and had long silky black hair and soft pale skin. She barely talked to her husband since she had no feelings for him, they even decided to sleep in different rooms. Mei continued to go to high school in America, she would cry everyday missing her lover. She was so unhappy she thought about killing herself every time she taught how much she hurt Yuzu. Udagawa was a good guy he was sad for Mei he knew how unhappy she was. He also had fallen involve with a girl named Shimmura and wanted to be with her.

*Sobs

'I deserve this for hurting Yuzu why...did I-"

*Knock Knock

"....w who is it" Mei said getting herself back to her emotionless and cold voice

"Its me Mei could we talk.."

"Yes of course" she said and opened the door

"Mei" he said after they both sat down "Ive been meaning to tell you.... I know you are very unhappy in this marriage we both love different people and want to be with them... I knew Yuzu she loved you very much.."

Those last words felt like knifes going through her heart as she held back from crying and breaking down in front of anyone.

"So... Mei I think we should divorce....." he said softly with a tiny bit of nervousness in his voice.

Mei eyes widened and a wave of happiness filled in her.

"If it is what you wish...." she said formally she didn't want to show how happy she was. The thought of seeing Yuzu once more made her heart race. Udagawa could some how tell how happy Mei was for the first time in his life meeting Mei and living with her for a year he saw her eyes glow and shimmer in happiness.He sighed in relief, they would finally be free to go to the ones they loved.

Two weeks later

Thus they were finally divorced Udagawa thought as he drove Mei to the airport to go back to Tokyo. In the plane, Mei had contacted her step mom (Ume), father, and grandfather of her return. Meis grandfather was shocked but accepted it since he saw how miserable Mei was in the whole year. Her step mom and father where happy for her return. 'Now' Mei thought looking from the airplanes window. 'Yuzu... I am finally coming home I just hope you will forgive me' Mei thought as small tears formed in her eyes.

Now Yuzu Two weeks ago

Yuzu was extremely unhappy, she hated herself and wanted to die, but no one ever would think the bright happy blonde would think this way. She had grown taller, she was a bit skinnier than a year ago, her bright emerald eyes had grown darker and foggy, but her fake happy smile would cover that up, her blonde hair was darker as-well . She would only wear long sleeved cloths she was covered in bruises all around her arms back and stomach, from her abusive boyfriend Ren. When Mei left Yuzu was left heart broken she wanted to die but decided to not show it, she wore a mask and no one ever saw through it. She also left the Ahiara Academy to another Private school with boys and girls. Where she met the most popular boy in school Ren, he quickly took interest in her (Many guys did) in this school Yuzu was extremely popular with guys and girls. Since Yuzu spent her last year in high school away from the Ahiara Academy she barely saw Matsuri and Harmin but still stayed in touch. Yuzu was asked out the first month she entered and with nothing to loose she dated him not knowing the horrible human being he was. Ren had Redish brown hair, he was fit (six pack and muscles) and had pale skin he had two very dark brown eyes and a small beauty mark in his cheek, he was tall and had fluffy hair.

*Groan

Yuzus whole body was sore from yesterdays events. She walked slowly to the mirror and her eyes widened at the huge dark purple and red bruise on her eye. Small tears runned down from her eyes as she remembered yesterday.

Flashback Yesterday Night

"LET ME GO!" Yuzu yelled as Ren held her wrist tightly, she winced in pain "Where do you think your going" her said pulling her towards him. He aggressively shoved her to the ground making her yell in pain once more. "Your MINE!" he yells at her and pins her to the ground and bites her neck hardly leaving her a hickey. "Or do I have to remind you... slave" he said laughing "N no stop.. please" Yuzu begged as he started to strip her clothes off her "I Love it when You beg!" he says as her starts to slide yuzus panties down "N NO PLEASE DONT D-" "SHUT UP!!" he yelled and punches yuzu in the eye "GA!" yuzu yells in tears "Do you remember our first time..." he says smirking Yuzus eyes widened as he remembered Ren forcefully taking her virginity without any consent. He raped her all night as she begged and yelled she even tried to escape but he beat her and tide her. "You wouldn't want me to do something like that again now would you.." he says happily "...." yuzu stays quiet and closes her eyes tears, without warning he put it in Yuzu didn't want it he did it all night she hated every second of it she just wanted to die.

Back to the Yuzu

" Why.." she whispers tears coming down uncontrollably. she looked at her naked body and fell to the ground, 'am I that gross do I deserve this?' then the image of Mei came In her head "Why did *sniff You leave me.... Mei" She cried for a bit and showered. Yuzu now had a bandaged eye she sighed 'now what will my excuse be'

Two Weeks Later (Back to the present)

"Mei!" Ume said happily as she hugged Mei once she got in to the apartment. "Its been a while how have you been" Ume says letting go of Mei. "Hello mother I've been good" she says formally "Don't have to be so formal Mei" she says and takes one of Meis luggage "why don't I help you take this to the room, yuzu should be home soon" Ume says smiling Meis eyes widened at the sound of Yuzus name she wanted to see her already. They walked to the room Mei was shocked at the view of the room she once shared with yuzu the one with great memories and happiness. The room used to light up with the pink and stuffed animals of yuzus things. Now Mei only saw the once happy filled room gloomy and dark, yuzus shelfs where a bit empty the manga and stuffed animals and makeup where no longer there only one stuffed animal and frame stood and the side Mei once took was still untouched and empty like how she left it a year ago. The bed had gray simple sheets now. 'what happened I wonder how much Yuzu has changed' Mei felt a bit nervous now just by looking at the room she knew Yuzu had changed as well. "Alright Mei why don't you make yourself at home and unpack your things after words you can shower" Ume said leaving the room. Mei did just that she unpacked her things and showered quickly.

after a few hours "Am home!" said a voice Mei knew to well she walked out of the room a bit nervous. "Yuzu I have a surprise" said Ume as she moved her hand to show Mei to get closer. Mei took a deep breath and walked to yuzu and Ume. "A surprise?" Yuzu looked at the shadow getting closer her eye widened (Her other eye was still healing) Yuzu looked at Mei and Mei looked at yuzu both looked like they wanted to drop in tears and hug each other. "H hello Yuzu" Mei said softly "...." Yuzu didn't respond she didn't know what to say or think "Yuzu where are your manners" Ume said bringing Yuzu back to reality "um I um H hello.. Mei" Yuzus voice slightly cracked at the end which Ume and Mei both noticed "Yuzu what wrong" Ume said looking at yuzu in worry Yuzu quickly reacted and looked at her mom nothing mama I must be coming down with something ill be right back" she said running to the bathroom. Mei only looked at yuzu leave she wanted to cry she noticed how yuzus bright eyes had lost their bright happy glow she even notice the bandage in her eye and how skinny and pale yuzu had gotten she was still incredibly beautiful but Mei could only worry, 'its my fault'.
