Chapter 1 Again

Yuzu ran to the bathroom and looked in the mirror crying a bit 'Mei...why is she back' Yuzu felt joy in seeing Mei but the memories of Mei leaving crashed he like a wave.

Mei excused herself and walked in front of the bathroom door quietly putting her ear on the door. She quickly herd small soft but painful sobs. The sound and pain that came in each sob made Mei mad..mad at herself because she caused that pain to Yuzu. After a few minutes she herd movement and walked to the room to wait for Yuzu.

Yuzu took a deep breath and looked in the mirror one last time. 'its alright' she said smiling and cleaning her eyes in the mirror so no one could tell she was upset or sad. That smile in the reflection made Yuzus eyes widened it was like she really was wearing a mask. Yuzu finally thought what she would do or say when she saw Mei. She thought and finally decided to just act naturally and not confront Mei.

Mei herd yuzus footsteps growing closer. For some strange reason her stomach began to throb she was growing extremely nervous. Yuzu opened the door her eyes locked with Meis violets. Mei saw yuzu stare at her not mad but just painfully. Before Mei could say a word Yuzu smiled and closed the door. "Hey...Mei" Those soft words filled with warmth made Meis eyes widened and small tears tried escaping. "..." Mei couldn't say anything she didn't know what to say she had it all planned before, a mad yuzu, a cold yuzu. But instead It was just Yuzu normal Yuzu in clear pain that no one saw but Mei. "Its..um been a while" Yuzu said smiling as she raised her hand to scratch the back of her neck. "Yu..zu" Mei said with a crack in her voice. Yuzus was shocked seeing the crying Mei in front of her "Mei" she said walking close to her. She stretched her hand to touch Meis face and clean her tears but stopped mid air only inches away from Mei. She quickly retreated her hand, Meis eyes grew more tears, Yuzu couldn't even touch her she just wanted to feel Yuzus warmth. "Yuzu" Mei said standing up in front of Yuzu who was slowly backing away "Am...Am SO S Sorry!" Mei says saying the last words a little louder. Yuzus eyes widened "Mei..." "Yuzu you probably hate me... I I didn't want to leave you Yuzu I STILL I STILL Love YOU...this whole year I needed You I wanted to die I I couldn't bare it.." Mei couldn't even talk anymore as she cried breaking down completely. "Mei" Yuzu says as she falls to the ground "YUZU!" Mei runs to the crying Yuzu "I I missed You so much Mei.. Why..did You l Leave me" Yuzu said turning to Mei her face was covered in tears and pain. Mei reacted fast wrapping her arms around Yuzu "Yuzu am So sorry" Mei said crying holding Yuzu tightly after a while Yuzu weakly wrapped her arms around Mei. "m Mei" she said softly. They looked at each other wanting to kiss but Yuzu stood up walking to the bed and sitting down, Mei followed her as Yuzus head was looking down wards. "Yuzu" Mei said worried Yuzus eyes were covered by her bangs and she was facing the ground sitting without making a noise only soft breathing could be herd. "Mei  L Lets talk tomorrow am tired" she said softly putting on her mask. A smile on that hurt Mei more than any frown or yell. Mei had no choice she wanted to explain more but knew Yuzu wasn't ready right now and was not planing on being forceful. They both laid in bed Yuzu facing away from Mei while Mei faced Yuzu. This warmth she craved she could feel it but it was not the same no it was not the one she craved, she wanted the one where both hugged or where in good terms where they both could hear there hearts pounding of love and happiness not of pain and sadness.

2 am at night

Yuzu was still awake she couldn't sleep for the first time in a whole year she felt relaxed yet stress would swallow quickly. Being next to Mei made her happy but the pain still could not leave. 'what if she leaves me again....What about Ren...What will I do...What if she doesn't love me after what Ren and I have done...What if I changed to much for her' these toughts swarmed her head she suddenly felt tears her body began to shaking slightly without her noticing she was mumbling.

Yuzu didn't know Mei had also been awake. She just wanted to touch Yuzu hug her kiss her and love her. But she couldn't at least not yet. Suddenly Mei herd small mumbling coming from the blonde 'Yuzu?!' Mei quickly moved closer and touched Yuzus arm she was trembling. She then herd some of the mumbling "M Mei d don't l leave me e p please" Yuzu mumbled her eyes forcefully closed and tears streaming down. Mei was now in tears, without thinking she moved yuzu to her direction. " m Mei" yuzu said shocked still trembling. "I-'" She moved to leave Meis embrace and to the direction of the door. Mei quickly followed and grabbed Yuzus wrist. "Yuzu!" Mei said in tears "I... I love y you please" Mei begged still holding one Yuzus wrist looking up to be meet with the watery emeralds. "H How do I k Know Y You won't j just leave me again!" Yuzu yelled not a mad yell but a painfully sad and despairing yell. Mei eyes widened and she pulled yuzu closer and hugged her "I know Yuzu am sorry You have no reason to but I really do love You I won't leave you ever again Never... Never again" Mei said tearing up still hugging yuzu. They stayed hugging until Yuzu finally whispered " I believe y you Mei but I... I need some time.. p please" Yuzu said softly with a raspy voice from crying "I understand Yuzu.. I will wait I will make you trust me again" Mei said calming down "Mei... I... I l love you" Yuzu said closing her eyes under Meis chin an nuzzling closely "I love you as well... Yuzu" Mei said walking slowly with the very sleepy Yuzu. They both got under the covers and yuzu hugged Mei being the smaller spoon, Mei was usually the smaller spoon but didn't mind to much since all she wanted was Yuzu to be happy again. There it is the warmth I missed so much. Mei looked at the now sleeping Yuzu and closed her eyes. Drifting to sleep. 'I love you so much Yuzu' Mei thinks and passes out.
