Introductory note from @apostropheA

This weekend has been full of surprises.

For a start, I couldn't return to Camp Christine to help my Girl Guide juniors with outdoor cooking and join their campfire because I had driving lessons. Then Criminal Minds and The Amazing Race was on break for the next few weeks so I had nothing to watch on TV (yes, I'm kind of a weekend TV aficionado :P). And finally I had two interviews offered to me for two different purposes by two different people at the same time!

Well, at least the last one was a pleasant surprise.

I was first interviewed by @fallenshadowbliss on Saturday for her senior community service project on correcting the perception of Muslim women in our modern society.

Then the next morning, @starryepiphany decided to interview me for the Booklovers Talk club.

OK I'm flattered by the random surge of interview offers (although there were only 2 haha...) But for them to be on the same weekend? With less TV time? And more time on my hands?

And so I have since concluded: This was no coincidence - this was FATE.

At the same time, I had also been burning the midnight oil for a madrasah test about some Qur'anic exegeses (more often known as Tafsir Al-Quran), and then got about 5 hours of sleep before I continued revising after dawn prayers on Sunday.

So when I got some notifications on Wattpad that afternoon, I was swift to take the perfect opportunity for a break from all that studying. The first was a vote by @Booklovers_Talk (BT) on my latest chapter of Speculum.

The next was a PM. And guess who it was? None other than Starry, asking about an interview for BT! Talk about foreshadowing devices!

Well so here we are, al-qada' wa al-qadr at play for this momentous interview. Thanks again to Starry and BT for this interview and here we go... :)
