A Message From @HopesPrayersNSmiles.
I don’t understand why it is that people look at the bigger things in life to seek happiness when tiny things come with the label of the emotion, too. You can give me your word to get me stars from the night sky, and I’d find the gesture too cute and adorable. But simple things like getting wet in the rain, the feel of the wind on my skin as my clothes sway with it, the smell of wet mud, the rippling of waves as they touch my feet at the beach – I love these things more.
And now, I have a new addition to this list of stuffs that bring a smile on my face: my supporters on Wattpad. It might sound crazy, but I keep track of every read, and every vote, and every comment on my story. Oh, and every follower, too! It is such a beautiful feeling when people find valuable lessons from the words you put down in your story. I can’t thank you enough for the smiles you put on my face :’)
As it has become clear that I love these little joys that life brings, I also want to say that when my inbox buzzed with @booohh’s message, asking me if I’d be kind enough to do an interview with her, I was more than delighted. I don’t understand how is it that some books show their teen characters to be having a very adventurous life, where they have new stuffs to look forward to every day. If that is the case, I'm afraid my life is plain and boring. I have a set routine as a student and it’s not every day that I find something exciting to do. Therefore, when I was asked if I could be interviewed, it was a momentous occasion! (You know, because how I said I’m a normal teen, or so I hope, and I don’t encounter exciting occasions every day.) ;)
I guessed that it was the first time she was interviewing someone, and it was also the first time I was being interviewed. So, here, as I type this out, I can only hope that this ‘first time' of ours can be worth your time and effort to read. :)
[I’ve known @booohh for quite some time as she used to read BM3 and drop by sweet comments. And then, I got to know her even better as the writer of ‘Palestwinians’. Hey girl, JazakAllahu khair for choosing to interview me! :)]
THE INTERVIEW.
booohh: Asalamu alaikum homegirl!
HopesPrayersNSmiles: Wa alaikum asalam! XD
booohh: Tell me, what is thy name?
HopesPrayersNSmiles: I’m Sarah. (:
booohh: And, thy age?
HopesPrayersNSmiles: 18!
booohh: Thy birthplace?
HopesPrayersNSmiles: I was born in Bangalore, India.
booohh: Your old background picture (which said: ‘when I first saw you, I was like و’ ) was hilarious. Tell me, have you ever seen someone that made you say ‘waw’? ;)
HopesPrayersNSmiles: Lol, I must say that I wasn't expecting that as one of the first questions. xD
booohh: What can I say? I'm an odd person. :P
HopesPrayersNSmiles: Hehe. While putting that up, I didn't really have anyone in mind. :P But there may be some people who I've met, and they are worth the wow(s) ;)
booohh: Oooh, OK, as you say *narrows eyes in suspicion*.
HopesPrayersNSmiles: No need for those eyes. I might want to stress on the fact that I said 'people'. :P
