LIGHT
I remember sitting on a swing in a playground all alone
No one made an effort to speak to me
Especially since I was a 'creepy, shy, quirkless freak'
That's until a timid green haired boy tried his luck on the coin
I flipped it after he said hello to me
Heads
My eyes widened slightly
The only time it would land on heads was when I was with my big sisters.
I replied with a monotonous 'hi' in my naturally soft voice.
I recall his cheeks becoming beet red and his eyes shine in excitement at my reply
The same shine they had
I felt the urge to be friends with him
People with shiny eyes was a good sign in my eyes
Though all shines hold different intentions, I could spot the good from bad kind.
I flipped it again
Heads
"would you like to be my...
I hesitated for a moment
"friend?"
He finished the scentence for me and I shyly nodded a little.
"Sure! I'll introduce you to Kaachan! And have you heard of All Might?"
He kept on babbling whilst I stared at him bewildered.
He gave me hope
Kanae always said they'd be a boy or girl that would give me hope again
