George panted heavily as he ran down the mineshaft halls, torch in hand. He was covered in scratches, a bruise being on his cheek. His clothes were slightly torn, sweat running down his panicked face. Loud and raspy groans came from behind him, causing him to panic more. He skidded to a stop, looking around to see which direction to go next. George took a left, running at the same place as before.
He had gotten lost in the cave, originally coming with Dream. They both had gotten ambushed by a large group of zombies, both running in different directions. George had nothing; no food, no weapons, no armor. All he had was the torch in his sweaty hand. He skidded to another stop.
          Dead end.
The groaning grew closer, George spinning around as his pants grew heavier. Hands shaking uncontrollably, he accidentally dropped his torch. The flame illuminated the three figures before George, causing his heart to drop. He was cornered. He had no where to go. Backing up quickly, his back soon came into contact with the stone wall.

A scream echoed through the mineshaft, catching Dream's attention. He felt his blood run cold. "George," he quietly said, beginning to head into the direction of the scream. All Dream had was a torch and a wooden sword that was on the verge of breaking. It was splintering, a few of them poking Dream's palm. He didn't care, all he wanted to do was find his boyfriend.
Fear coursed through the scratched-up male's body, tears beginning to sting his eyes. He knew that scream belonged to George. He came to a halt, looking around. Panting slightly, he made an idiotic choice.
"George!" He called out, his tears flooding his eyes at this point. "George, where are you?!" He continued, gripping the wooden sword even harder. He didn't care about the feeling of the wood puncturing his skin. Hell, he didn't even wince.
          There was no response.
His tears began streaming down his face, beginning to run forward. Suddenly, he was tackled to the ground from the side. Dream loud out a cry of pain as he dropped his sword and his torch. Opening his eyes to see who was on top of him, they widened in horror. More tears filled them, beginning to spill down the sides of his scratched face.
"G...G–George..?" He croaked quietly, beginning to shake. The figure looked at him, it's cloudy white eyes locking with his. It was George, but it wasn't at the same time. He looked just like him, but his skin was now a dark green color. His neck and arms had bite marks, his crimson red blood oozing out of them and trickling down his body. His hair was a complete mess, saliva leaking from his mouth.
Dream didn't even fight him off. He laid there, beginning to cry his heart out at the realization that his boyfriend was dead. Even if he wanted to, he couldn't fight George off. The sword had snapped when Dream dropped it, the torch about to die out. Opening his eyes, he could barely make George's demonic face out being the tears in his eyes. He watched as George's mouth opened, a low growl leaving him. Once the fire had completely died out, there was a loud cracking noise as Dream felt an intense pain in his neck. He let out a pained scream at this, the feeling of George's teeth digging into his skin causing even more pain.

SapNap leaned against the cartography table, hands pressed firmly against it. He was biting his lip, tapping his fingers nervously. His eyes shifted from the papers before him to the clock that was mounted on the wall. It was almost night time.
"Babe?" Karl's voice rang as he climbed up the ladder, causing SapNap to jump slightly. "What's wrong?" He continued, pulling himself up onto the floor and walking over.
"It's almost been three hours and they still aren't back," SapNap replied, his eyes never leaving the clock. Now it was Karl's turn to be nervous. "Should we go out to look for them? I could tell the others to suit up," Karl asked, placing his hands on SapNap's arms. Just as SapNap was about to respond, he heard a voice calling for them.
"Guys!" Quackity's panicked voice rang as he climbed up the ladder, his head popping up. "Guys– you need to get down here. Fast"

Running outside, SapNap and Karl saw that the others were standing out front. They were all staring at something before them. Niki had her hands cupping her mouth, and SapNap could see that everyone's eyes were glossy with tears. Their expressions were all shocked.
SapNap turned to look at Karl, seeing that he, too, wore the expression that everyone else did. SapNap finally turned to look before them, eyes immediately filling with tears as they widened.
Before the group was a mob of zombies, two figures standing in front of them all. The lamps that lined up with the wooden path to the house illuminated their features.
The one on the right was the zombified George, drooling like he was earlier. Except this time, his saliva was mixed with a crimson red fluid. His teeth were now coated with the same red substance, a low growl escaping him. He seemed to be holding the hand of the figure that stood next to him. The figure was Dream, but he was in the same condition as George. Green skin, cloudy white eyes, drooling, torn clothes, and a large bloody bite mark being on his neck.
SapNap couldn't contain himself. His tears began streaming down his face, cupping his mouth as muffled sobs escaped him. His friends– no. His best friends were gone. They were now green lumps of human eating monsters. "Everyone," Techno's shaky voice spoke. "G–Get back inside. Now." As Techno said this, George turned to Dream and let out a grunt. It was as if he were asking for confirmation. Dream looked back at him, giving a slight nod.
George looked back at their group of former friends, watching as they were slowly trying to get back inside. A loud, throaty scream escaped him. This seemed to be their signal, for the group of zombies behind them began to scream and charge the house.

(Perhaps a part two? Maybe I'll put it in the KarlNap book? Maybe I won't? 👀 (Jkjk I won't–))
