(The inside story of Jeffery)

It all started for Jeffery, when he was just 18 years old. Jeffery lived in a small wooden house in a forest with his grandparents. Jeffery's parents had passed away when he was only 3 for an unknown reason so he was taken by care of by his sweet grandparents. Jeffery's grandma and his grandpa raised him up with good manners and always taught him to dream big. Knowing that, Jeffery's grandma always told him to say things he wanted to happen out loud; so that it would be more certain to come true.

Even though Jeffery's household was poor, Jeffery always helped out and had big dreams but sadly one day, Jefferey and his grandpa had to face one more sadness when his grandma died.

They were depressed and mourning for days but got back up on their feet. Jeffery and his grandpa still lived in the same wooden house after the grandma passed away.

Several months after his grandma's death, something strange happened. Jeffery was chopping wood for the fire and it was time for dinner. The sun was just beggining to set. HIs grandpa always called for dinner at that time. Jeffery thought it was some special dinner and was taking a longer time. 15 minutes passed. Jeffery thought it was taking a while but he decided to finish cutting the wood. He assured himself that nothing was wrong. 15 more minutes passed and Jeffery was finished with his work and began to worry. He went into the kitchen and couldnt find his grandpa. He looked all over the house but his grandpa was nowhere to be seen. Panic arose in Jeffery and his palms began to sweat.

Jeffery shouted "Grandpa!" As loud as he could. No answer.

Jeffery came into the living room and fell on his knees. There was a book widely opened on the floor next to him. It was called Cinderella. However, Jeffery did not pay atttention because he was in great shock and pain about everything. One by one, tears rolled out of his clear brown eyes and the night was filled with his sorrow.

He went around for the next year asking around if anyone's seen his grandpa but nobody knew.

5 years later, Jeffery lived in an apartment and worked as an author to pursue his dreams. He decided that it was the best choice because he didn't want to keep living in the depressing wooden house after his grandpa disappeared.

One day in his apartment, It was about night time and the sun was just beginning to set. This reminded Jeffery of his grandpa and how he never found him.

Jeffery suddenly rememberd the opened book. He took it with him, when he moved out of the old, wooden house, thinking it could've been a clue to his grandfather's death because his grandpa treasured it. Not only that, since he was an author, he had hoped it would give him some inspiration to start a new story.

He found the book in his drawers and started reading it but he couldn't concentrate because he kept being reminded of his grandpa's disappearance so he tried reading out loud instead and filled in the mysterious blanks he discovered. As soon as "Prince" left Jeffery's mouth, his surroundings slowly melted and out of nowhere, he was in a Palace!

Jeffery couldnt believe his eyes! He was really confused at first but he began to enjoy his life as a prince, and forgot about his real life in the real world. Sadly.. he did not live through the story like he should have, like finding Cinderella and her shoe in the time he had. Little did he know that he was going to be trapped in there his whole life. Jeffery began to grow old and could no longer be the Prince, so he became the helper of the stepmom.

Jeffery knew that there was only 8 days to get out of the story now because he had asked one of the magicians in the palace he lived in when he was younger. The magician coincidently, was one of the characters that came from the real world and they told him that people could only live in this story for 5 years. People came into the story and after they finished all the events, they got to go out.  Not only that, only 5 people could come into the story as a character.

A few days after though, the magician was able to get out of the story so Jeffery could never ask him the questions he wanted to ask.

Before, (after knowing that fact) he thought that the 5 years would go by slowly so he took his time but knowing there was something suspicious about Cinderella and her step sisters, it occured to him that he only had a few days.

Although Jefferey wasn't a prince anymore, he would think of a way to get out of the story somehow. He would do whatever it takes to leave this servant-like life.

Another thing that caught Jeffery's eyes was that he saw a picture of his grandpa in the story (as the Prince's father) and later found out that he, too, was trapped in the story forever and died. Once again, Jeffery cried out in anger and frusteration.

~ back in the real world, after Jeffery dissapeared~

Soon after, the owner of Jeffery's apartment got annoyed because Jeffery wasn't paying his monthly bills so one day, the owner decided to go to the apartment and demand his money. When he got there, he rang the door bell. "Ding Dong." Nobody answered so he tried again. Still no answer. The owner tried again and again and again but there still was no answer. He banged on the door with his clenched fists but Jeffery still wouldn't come out. Angrily, the owner tried the door knob and it surprisingly was unlocked.

The first thing that the owner noticed when he went inside was the MESS. Books were everywhere, the dishes weren't cleaned and cobwebs were nested at the corner of the ceilings. It was also very humid and dark. The owner quickly went to the window and opened up the curtains. "Achoo!" He started to sneeze because of the dust.

The owner yelled "Jeffery!!"

He searched all over the apartment and still couldn't find him. The frustrated owner decided to call the police investigators. When the policemen came, the owner told them the story. The policemen told the owner that they would do their best to find him. As they were investigating, one policeman pointed something out. "Look at this opened book!" because it was lying on the ground awkwardly in the middle of the floor.

Everybody came to look at it but another policeman thought it wasn't much help so they decided to donate the book to a local library. The policemen did more investigating and found out that his grandpa had disappeared as well and apparently, the grandpa had been disappeared for 10 years since then.

Soon after, the policeman printed Jeffery's picture on the daily newspaper but no one knew where he was... Then everyone slowly began to forget him...
