Leo's POV:.
I slowly looked up at Jonathan, who was glaring at me with angry eyes.
Well, this is awkward.
Last night when Gia stopped by, it was just to talk about our feelings. Then the next thing you know, her lips are on mine, and obviously I'm not going to pull away. So things started to get a little...heated. Then Jonathan somehow ended up back at the house, furious. I was pretty certain he was gonna to beat the shit out of me. I'm honestly surprised he didn't.
And now, him and Gia were sitting in my living room, the silence extremely loud.
"Look man, I'm sorry, okay?" I huffed.
"Like hell you're sorry," Jonathan scoffed.
"Jonathan, don't-"
"Shut up Gia," He spat, standing from the couch.
"Woah, woah, woah," I quickly stood with him, trying to set a hand on his shoulder but he quickly slapped it away.
I scowled, narrowing my eyes at him.
"Don't talk to her like that Jonathan, this is between us," I said sternly, standing straighter to match his level. He opened his mouth to say something, but took a quick glance at Gia's expression as he sat back down.
"Thank you," I mumbled, rolling my eyes as I took a seat after him.
"Jonathan, why are you so upset?" Gia spoke up, after a few seconds of silence.
We both looked up at her, surprised she was going to say anything.
"Really, Gia? Why am I so upset?" He scowled.
She took a deep breath to keep her cool, as she sat up slowly.
"Yes, why are you so upset? I know that we used to be..." She glanced at me for a moment, before turning back to Jonathan.
"An item," she said quietly. "But that is over. And it has been for a while now. If you can't see that, then that's you're fault. Not mine, or Leo's."
"God, you are such a bitch." He spat, immediately standing from his seat again.
"You wanna say that again, man?" I shouted, standing up his gaze.
He looked at me with pure anger, before I heard clacking against the wooden floor.
I furrowed my eyebrows, as Jonathan did the same and we both looked to the side.
Gia was strutting over to us, with her arms crossed over her chest.
She paused once she stood in front of us, as she looked back and fourth between Jonathan and I.
Before I could say anything, her right hand struck against Jonathan's face, leaving a harsh red mark against his cheek.
He winced, holding his hand to his face, as he looked back up at Gia.
"Get the fuck out, Jonathan," Gia said, narrowing her eyes at him.
He looked at the both of us, before grabbing his phone from the coffee table, and walking back to the front door. Before he could walk out he gave us the finger, before slamming the door behind him.
"Yeah suck it, asshole!" Gia shouted at him.
I quickly turned to her with an impressed smirk."That was pretty badass," I mumbled.
"Oh yeah?" She smiled, inching closer to me.
"Mmhm," I quickly grabbed her hand, moving her from against the wall as I stood in front of it, dragging her back towards me.She grinned under my gaze, before planting a soft, and gentle kiss upon my lips.
I smiled into it, slightly laughing before she pulled away.
"You ruin everything," She glared at me, before taking my hand and walking back to the kitchen.
"That's me," I chuckled.
"Since when did Jonathan go psycho?" Gia asked, changing the subject.
"...I don't know. He was fine at the diner, and he didn't seem to be mad about me liking you or anything, and I-"
"You like me?" She grinned.
I quickly looked back at her, trying to hide my smile.
"Don't remind me," I joked, rolling my eyes.
All she did was smile, as I took a seat at one of the bar stools. She went to the fridge as she got out milk and a box of cereal from the counter.
"...Wait you actually like me?" She asked hesitantly, as she poured the cereal into a bowl.
"You're not really asking me that, are you?" I laughed.
She shrugged, closing up the cereal box.
I rolled my eyes lifting her chin with my hand so she would look up at me.
"Yeah Gia, I do like you."
She smiled, as she gave me a quick kiss, pulling away to ruffle my hair.
I scrunched up my nose, quickly backing away and fixing my hair.
She laughed, rolling her eyes as she poured milk into the bowl, that stunning smile sliding across her face.
Falling for my first love again; risky and painful...
