I hate Texas. I hate my new school. I hate moving. Ever since my mom got her new job here as a nurse, all she could talk about was how beautiful Texas is. Texas is dirt. My first day at Dellwalk High School was a living hell. Everyone already seemed to have a group they belonged to. So basically I was a loner the entire day. I sat alone at lunch, and if things couldn't get worse, I got lost trying to find the algebra room. I was still wandering around ten minutes after bell rang. This is school is so damn confu- "Excuse me, where should you be? I jump at the booming loud voice that alerted from behind me. A surprisingly thin red-headed lady walks into my view with a deep scowl on her face. "I uh I'm looking for Mr. River's class", I stammer in reply. I hand her my wrinkled schedule to verify. She tells me to follow her as she walks back towards the cafeteria and stops at a room nearby. If I felt srupid then when I couldn't find my algebra class, imagine how I feel now when, in big bold letters, 'MR. RIVER'S ALGEBRA CLASS', is stapled to a long wooden door. I don't know how I missed that. I relunctly walked into the classroom trying to act confident. A blond guy, who i assume is Mr. River's, introduces me to the class and asked me to pick a seat. At least we don't have assigned seats. I found myself sitting next to a caramel-skin toned girl. But that wasn't what grasped my attention: It was her light green eyes.
