You and Liam Payne
Today you were at a local gym, working out and trying to stay in shape. After about two hours of rigorous training you fell to the floor utterly exhausted. You stared up at the ceiling cooling off and trying to slower your heartbeat. You breathed in a great big gulp of air and shut your eyes for a few seconds to rest for awhile before you headed home. As you slowly reopened your eyes you found a pair of deep brown eyes gazing at you intently. "Are you all right love?" he asked with a deep timbre voice. You gasped in shock and scrambled to get up blushing at your proximity to the guy. He chuckled lowly at your reaction and he grasped your hand in a firm handshake. "Hello, I'm Liam Payne. Who might you be?" Wait Liam Payne? As in Liam Payne from One Direction? Apparently so, you thought to yourself as you glanced at his familiar face and adorable smile. You blushed and shook his hand lightly. "Hello I'm (Y/N). Nice to meet you." you greeted politely. He grinned and ran his hand through his hair. "Just wanted to make sure you were okay. I saw you on the floor and thought you might have passed out." You looked down and blurted, "I'm a big fan of yours and of the others!". He seemed surprised by your outburst then he smiled broadly. "I'm glad to know we have pretty fans such as yourself." You blushed madly and he laughed aloud at your expression. "So do you want to meet up later?" he asked suddenly. You snapped your head up in surprise and looked into his meaningful eyes. He was waiting for your reply expectantly with a raised eyebrow. Slowly you smiled and nodded your head. "Great! I'll meet you here in front of the gym in let's say about five hours?" he said excitedly. "Yes meet you here." you replied grinning. "Good! See you later!" he shouted as he walked out the door. You smiled madly to yourself and then rushed out to ready yourself for this afternoon!
You scouted the surrounding area near the gym where you were to meet Liam but found no available parking spaces. You sighed heavily because you were already late and now you had to park a few blocks away. You quickly shifted your gear into park and hopped out of your car walking as fast as you could in your pumps. Rounding the corner you saw Liam standing there with his hands in his pockets looking around intently. As his gaze finally set on you, he grinned widely and you waved back shyly. "I'm very sorry I'm late! There was no parking nearby." you explained staring into his shining eyes. Because you were staring into his eyes, you failed to notice a small hole in the sidewalk and the heel of your shoe got stuck into it. You gasped and opened your eyes wide as you saw the ground rushing up to meet your face. You shut your eyes quickly bracing yourself for the impact. As you fell, you felt a pair of warm hands grasp your waist that prevented you from hitting the floor. You slowly opened your eyes and met Liam's chocolate brown eyes only inches away. "Are you alright?" he whispered huskily. "Yes. Thank you." you replied shakily. You could feel yourself blushing from his proximity and the feel of his firm grip on your waist. His eyes quickly flicked down to your lips before gazing back at your eyes, an unspoken question in his eyes. You nodded slightly and he slowly leaned down and sweetly touched his lips to yours. You felt him smiling into the kiss and he pulled back grinning. "I've been wanting to do that all day." he confessed. You blushed hard. "Me too." you agreed shyly. He smiled mischievously. "Can I kiss you again?" you smiled and shook your head. "You don't even have to ask." You leaned up to him and kissed him once more.
After the wonderful first kiss you two had, you have been inseparable ever since. Today is your year and a half anniversary since you had started dating and Liam, being the romantic gentleman that he is, has a surprise for you. Riding in his car that afternoon to the secret destination, you made mindless chatter with him as you wondered what was in store for you. The path wound into a forest and the dense trees made it hard to see past them. "Where are we going Liam? How much longer until we get there?" you whined exasperatedly. He grinned evilly. " Just about an hour or two." he replied nonchalantly. Your jaw dropped open. "Are you serious?! JUST an hour or two!?!?" you exclaimed. He laughed aloud and leaned over to kiss you lightly on the cheek. "I'm just teasing you love. We're almost there." You pouted and smacked him lightly on the arm. "Liam James Payne that was not funny!" you said. He chuckled and eventually you started to giggle too. "Look we're almost there!" he exclaimed suddenly as he pointed down the road. You shifted in your seat excitedly as his car entered the clearing and you gasped at what you saw. A huge colorful hot air balloon stood in the center of the field! Liam laughed at your expression. "I'm thinking you like it?" You snapped your head around to face him with wide eyes. "You did not rent a hot air balloon!!" you breathed out. "Obviously I did." he retorted as he parked the car next to the balloon. He jumped out of his door and rushed over to open yours. He reached down pulling you out easily and walked you over to the basket of the balloon. "Are you sure this is safe? Do you know how to use this thing?" you asked him unsurely as you looked up at him. He smiled down gently at you. " I would never risk putting you in danger love." he said as his hand swept a loose strand of your hair and tucked it in behind your ear. You grinned. "Ok! I trust you. " He nodded and stepped in the basket first and helped you up after him. " Are you ready?" he asked looking at you with bright eyes and a wide smile. "As ready as I'll ever be." you replied as he started up the fire. Slowly the balloon rose into the air and you gripped onto Liam who was laughing lightly. The sun had begun to go down so the sky was painted in a beautiful mixture of colors. The trees and Liam's car looked tiny from your point of view and the landscape rolled on forever. "Its beautiful." you whispered to Liam in awe. He put his arms on either side of you and whispered lowly into your ear. "Nothing can ever be more beautiful than you (Y/N)." You shivered pleasantly into in his arms and you both stood there silently taking in this beautiful moment. "I want to ask you something." Liam said nervously. You turned around in his arms and looked at him worriedly. "Sure. Ask me anything." He ran his hand through his hair and took in a shaky breath. "(Y/N), since I first met you, you have been very important to me. You are the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing before I go to sleep. You are very important to me and I want-no I need you in my life. I want to be by your side forever." you teared up slightly as he began to awkwardly kneel in the small space of the basket. He looked up at you his deep eyes boring into yours. "So will you please marry me?" he asked breathlessly. You stood there speechlessly before you flung your arms around his shoulders and toppled onto him. "Of course!" he grinned and quickly pulled your face in for long slow kiss. You pulled back catching your breath and Liam laughed at how you were positioned in the small cramped space. "I wish this were bigger so we could continue umm..." he trailed off realizing what he just said. "Did i just say that out loud?" he asked as his face grew extremely red and he avoided your gaze. You grinned devilishly and tilted your mouth into a smirk. " Yes you did. And oh don't you worry, just wait till we get off of this thing Payne." he grinned and kissed you again as the balloon slowly sank back down to the ground.
