The Vampire protectors

Chapter 2

Elizabeth pov:

As I walked through the gates to the compound of our castle I cant help but catch a whiff of the most intoxicating smell as I look at my sister she seams to smell it to.

"I wonder what that was" she says as we push the doors open "you think mothers home?" I ask she had been gone for about a week and we had been worried "I hope so" she responds.

"Speak of the devil" Lauren chuckles as we enter the living room I spot my mother with a smile on her face.

"Ah mother how was your trip" I ask her "splendid darling" "I brought you and your sister a gift" she says excitedly.

"Oh what is it?" I ask hoping its food from where she came from.

She whistles and from the shadows walks a wolf darker then darkness its self with red eyes thank seam to have a everlasting fire in them and markings  "this is devon" she says patting the wolf who dosent look very happy how in the world can a wolf look not happy?

From my mothers other side walks out a wolf white a snow with piercing blue eyes and marking almost identical to the first but diffrent colors, but this one looks happier than the first.

"And this is kiara" she finishes looking quiet pleased with her self "they will be your personal bodyguards from now on."

"Wait what?" Lauren questions "I get lizzy but why must I have a mutt follow me" she says the black wolf, devon then snarles and her making her jump back.

"They are not mutts lauren, the posses abilitys that one can only dream of besides they wont look like this" she then turns to the wolves "shift" she commanded but it came out like a request.

Then the wolves begain to change shape and before I know it in there places stand women "what in the bloody hell is happening" I question

"As I stated before these girls are special" She turns to the black haird one with green eyes that have a tinge of orange around the pupil "this one here is devon she is a deamon wolf" she calmly says as if its normal "her mastery is over fire" the girl- devon then hold out her hand to witch a flame danced around on before it died out from the lack of flammable resources.

"She will be your bodyguard lizzy" she turns to me "by bodyguard you mean-" she cuts me off "yes she will go with you everywhere even school" she finishes "and Lauren this is kiara" she says "let me guess ice?" She questions still glancing every so often at devon as if she'll pounce on her "exactly" my mother says. The kiara holds out her hand to which a blue glow like a black hole with ice formes instantly making the room cold even we start to shiver and were vampires.

"Ehem" Devon fake caughs as if to remind my mother of somthing "right, devon and kiara are not pets they are your bodyguards they dont take orders like a pet dog would they are here to protect you" she states

"Now I have to head off for an actual business trip" she walks pass us "wait then where were you all this time" I question "finding them" she point the the girls who are now examining the place.

"Great just perfect" lauren mumbles "so what do you guys like to do for fun?" I ask trying to bring up the mood both girls stop what there doing look at me and in unison question "what's that".

"No matter" says devon "I shall go set a perimeter" she says heading out "arnt you suppose to protect us?" I ask feeling a little hurt she wants to leave "I am by leaving this room before I burn it and the people inside it" she respons not looking back and heading outside.

"I apologize for her" the other one kiara states "she resents vampires for what they have done to us shes only here for me" she states "but a perimeter is a good idea so while she dose that I'll protect you both in here-"

She was about to continue when we hear a loud bang from outside similar to and explosion. We all run outside to see devon In wolf form growling and snarling at a person who have pure fear in there eyes but I recognize "devon enough" I state reluctantly she obliges stepping away from the boy and standing in front of kiara and me.

"Timothy is that you?" I finally say after he got up from the ground dusting his self off "didnt know that you installed dog security" at that devon growles again this time sending a fireball right towards Timothy right before hitting him j see kiara shoot a equal size blue one intersepting Devon's saving timmy.

"Enough dev" she says as if this happen on the regular, by now devon had shifted back and look madder then her wolf did "you know this trespassers" she questions looking at me. If looks could explode some one the one devon put on was just perfect.

"Yea hes my boyfriend"
