Friday.
Uhhhh! Thank God it's Friday. I plop down on my sofa and throw my bag and boots somewhere.
I can't help but think about Damien. Today was very irritating. I tried to avoid him but failed miserably. He just doesn't get it.
I don't want to attach myself to him or I'll blow my cover. And my heart.
"Ugh why do you have to be so gorgeous?" I whisper."Who's gorgeous?" I jumped out of the sofa squeaking. "You scared the shit outta me! Who are you and what are you doing in my room?" I ask.
The guy was too far away for me to decipher his identity. I narrow my eyes at him. "How did you get my room key code? And you didn't answer my IQ". I cross my arms. This bitch shouldn't keep me waiting. I silently wait for him to speak. What's wrong with him? Is he mute? But he just spoke to me right now.
"Lo-" he cut me off. "Your friend wanted to come see you and she was a bit drunk. So I guess she forgot that I wasn't supposed to know and punched it in." He shrugged. "No biggie". No biggie? Is this guy for real? Showing up at somebody's room and claiming it is a 'no biggie'. No biggie my ass.
He emerges from the darkened corner and I'm met with beautiful forest green eyes, dark brown hair, small but sweet lips and a drool worthy body. He gives a signature smirk and I blush but roll my eyes. Wow. If I get people like him showing up in my room then I might as well leave my door open.
"Okay so.... where's the friend you're talking about?" I ask trying to keep my eyes off his perfect body. He wore tight jeans and a plain black shirt tucked in. So simple. "Right there" he points at the corner of the room where my chair-I don't know the name but it's round and squishy and very comfortable- was and truth be told there she was in her full glory, the drunken queen of alcohol, Denice. I sigh.
"Thank you" I say. "Anytime sugar" he winks at me and I blush. Hard.
" Just because I thanked you doesn't mean you can come snooping around my room. And I need to know your name in case there are problems". "The name's Asher. Ash for short. And don't worry princess. I already found out your name from your friend over there. You've got a beautiful face btw."
With one last signature smirk and wink, he leaves.
Oh God!! What's with all these winking?!! It's like they do it for you to fall in love with them. What an ass.
Sighing again, I go to Denice and drag her to bed. Here hangover is gonna be massive. Just as I'm about to tuck her in, Sal bursts into the room.
"Oh come on! You could've just freaking knocked!"
" No time for that. We have a party to look forward to. Today's Friday and it's a beach party!!!! Now come on! Go get ready. And what happened to that one?""Came here drunk". I quickly change the subject. " And why do I need to go?! I'm exhausted. I need rest!"
"Rest is for tomorrow. Now go! We don't wanna disappoint your greek god" she says winking. God! I've seen this countless times. Just make it disappear."Alright, alright. I'll go get ready. But only because you asked me to", I warned, "plus you owe me ice cream".
"Deal!" She leaves for me to get ready. I'm screwed. Ofcourse I'm going to the party because of Damien. I need to protect him.
Continue lying to yourself.
Damn you! You always have to be right. Anyway, I take out my swim wear which looks like this
