A 3rd year Education Student ng De LaSoirre University.
De La Soirre University is a very expensiveschool. Nakapasok lamang ako dito dahil nagsumikap akong makakuha ng mataas na marka noong highschool.
Si nanay ay nasa bahay lamang inaalagaan ang anim kong mga kapatid. My papa is a security guard in a small company in my hometown.
I did everything to pursue college. I want to finish education and help my family para hindi maranasan ng mga kapatid ko ang hirap na dinanas ko. Maaga akong namulat sa kahirapan ng buhay, ngunit hindi ito naging hadlang upang hindi ko abutin ang aking mga pangarap.
I always aim high in my exams. Nagmamadali akong makatapos ng pag-aaral para makatulong sa bahay.
Ayaw pumayag ni mama na mag-aral ako sa De La Soirre noong una. But I made her understand my reasons why I want to do this. Nag-aalangan sya dahil mayayaman ang nag-aaral dito at akoy di hamak na mahirap lamang. Im scared as well but my family is my inspiration and I have to be strong for them.
Today is monday, first day of classes. Im staying in one of the fanciest dormitory in the University. Hindi ako sanay sa mga kagamitan dito dahil lahat ay puro mamahalin. halatang para lamang sa mga mayayaman ang skwelahang ito. I luckily got a full scholarship program that includes monthly allowance, free laptop, books and sa dormitory to stay wala nang poproblemahin sina mama at papa sa pag-aaral ko. I only buy food outside. Merong mga karenderia at mall sa labas. May pag-aalinlangan ako, dahil baka katulad ng mga nababasa at napapanuod ko na inaalila ng mga mayayaman ang mga mahihirap sa skwelahang ito.
I wouldnt know if wont move now. Sinulyapan ko ang relo ko , I still have one hour to kill before my first subject. So, I decided to go for a walk since this is a very big school and one day is not enough to see the whole place sobrang laki lang. Lumabas ako sa kwarto ko I saw some people in the kitchen and living room. hindi naman ganun karami siguro ang iba nandun pa sa mga kwarto nila. I guess they're also staying here.
One girl in the kitchen caught my attention because she's starring at me.
" Psst! are you new here?'' she said in a very friendly tone.
I look at my back baka kasi hindi ako ang tinatanong nya Mapagkamalan pa akong assuming'.
I pointed myself "uhh Me?"
"Yes you, who else pa ba unless may mga nakikita ka na hindi namin nakikita?" she gave me an exxagerated shocking look face.
I was like huh??
she laughed while walking towards me.
Im Hazeyl Maxienaj you can call me Haze or L". she instroduced herself, smiling.
I feel comfortable with her and gaan ng loob ko sa kanya so i smiled back.
"Im Lexie Vienn Ramirez, Lexie for short.
" So, are you a newbie here? what time is your class ba? can you wait for me for a minute i'll just put my plate at the kitchen and we'll go together?"
I havent give any response yet but she turned her back to the kitchen already.
Nagtanong pa talaga akala mo naman hihintayin nya ang sagot ko. I sighed and smiled. I found a friend on my first day here.
