10 days (Sakuatsu fan fiction)

Day 8

𝐴𝑡𝑠𝑢𝑚𝑢 𝑃𝑂𝑉:

"Two more days. Two more FUCKING days, do y'know what this means Akagi?" It was still around 9:00am when I realized that I only had two more days to make omi mine and I needed to rant to someone.

I want to talk to oikawa but he just got dick downed and I knew he wasn't gonna wake up till 1:00pm or something. So I ranted to Akagi because he's one of the only people on the team that actually listens to me.

"Mhmm yea. So whatchu gonna do bout it hm?" Akagi asked while he started stretching.

"Well I don't really know but I do have a plan." I joined in on the stretching since we did still have a couple of practice games to do.

"Hey didn't you say you guys fell asleep next to each other or something?" Akagi asked as he picked up a volleyball and tossed it to me.

"Mmm yea but when I woke up he was gone." You could hear the disappointment in my voice. I honestly didn't know why he left and I don't even know where he went.

"Oh, sorry bout that. Hey I gotta question." I set him up the ball so he could receive it. We did this a few times before I answered.

"What's yer question?"

"Does Sakusa even like you?"

I didn't know how to answer that. I caught the ball and looked down at the ground. Does omi even like me? All this time I never even thought about that. I was frozen like that till I heard a deep sigh and some footsteps walk closer to me.

"Sorry tsumu. I ain't mean to hit a nerve there."
I looked up from the floor to see the concerned look on his face. I gave him a fake smile and shrugged it off.

"No no no it's ok...I just never really thought bout that is all."

Silence.

"U-umm let's just continue practicing before Kita-San yells at us mk?" I say as I lightly pushed him away so he could start receiving again.

I should ask someone about this....and I know exactly who.

𝑆𝑎𝑘𝑢𝑠𝑎 𝑃𝑂𝑉:

I woke up to someone gently shaking me. It was Komori, I had fallen asleep next to him in the bed.

"Rise and shine sleeping beauty! How was your sleep?" I stirred as I sat up and rubbed my eyes.

"Surprisingly pretty well." I shifted around so my head was at the foot of the bed and my feet were propped up on his hips.

"Your being touchy this morning, are you in a good mood?" He sat up and started touching my feet. I was being a little more touchy then usual.

"Well I guess I'm a bit happy cause-." I paused as I remembered that I still practice.

"Oh shit what time is it?" I started patting around the bed looking for my phone.

"Uhhh 9:45am why- OOHHHHHH YOU HAVE TO GO!"

I quickly jumped up and put my coat and shoes on. After searching for a while I found my phone and saw I had 20 missed calls and over 40 missed messages from captain.

"Fuck. I gotta go I'll be back later tonight."

"Bye-bye kiyo. Oh bring me a subway sandwich. The food here sucks ass."

I nodded my head to show that I cared and quickly rushed out the hospital. I arrived at the camp at 10:20am and let's just say Lizuna-San was not happy about it.

"Sakusa kiyoomi where the FUCK where you." I gulped as I took a step back as the older boy approached me.

"S-sorry I went to go visit Komori and fell asleep. Hehehe."

The eye contact was unpleasant and it looked like he was burning a hole through my skull.

He sighed.

"Just next time, tell me when your gonna miss the first practice game." He gave me one last look before walking away.

I took this as a chance to head to my room and take a shower.

He felt sympathy for me. I just know it. In any other situation he would've yelled so much that he'd have a headache.

I hate it when he gets sympathetic.

𝐴𝑡𝑠𝑢𝑚𝑢 𝑃𝑂𝑉:

"I heard that omi came back and got yelled at his captain. Should I try to talk to him?" Akagi, suna and I were sitting at a table eating some lunch.

"I say forget his ass." Suna said as he stuffed a meatball in his mouth.

"SUNA! What the fuck y'know tsumu really likes him." Akagi snapped his head toward suna and narrowed his eyes.

"Ya that's why I'm tell him to forget his ass. I mean tsumu does all of this for Sakusa and gets what I'm returned? NOTHING!! If this is how he acts now then it's gonna be a toxic one sided relationship."

"Sakusa isn't all that bad! Y'know he has issues of his own."

Akagi and suna where know arguing back and forth about omi. I couldn't say anything. They both made valid points but who was right?

"Cmon Akagi what sakusa did to tsumu last night was a dick move. I mean he could've stayed until he woken up OR leave him a note." Suna jabbed his fork into another meatball and chewed it angrily.

"Ya makin it sound like that had a one night stand....you didn't have a one night stand right?"

They were both looking at me now.

"Um...no?"

"See, they weren't fucking so stop it." Akagi protested.

The two arguing went on and I started to tune them out. I wasn't sure if I even wanted to listen to what they had to say.

My phone dinged. I had gotten a text message.

From omi.

Private messages

Omi: Hey tsumu can you meet me at my room. Like rn
Atsu:um sure is everything ok?

Omi: ya I just need to talk to you.

Atsu: ok I'll be right there.

I slowly got up from where I was sitting and made my way to omi's room. I wasn't quite sure what he needed me for but I just really wanted to talk to him.

Third POV:

Atsumu stood in front of Sakusas door for a while before knocking twice on it. Not even 15 seconds later Sakusa came to the door and let him in.

They sat on the couch in silence for a moment before Sakusa spoke up.

"I'm-I'm sorry Atsu." Sakusa said as he kept his head down.

"Huuhhh? Whatcha sorry for?" Atsumu knew why he said sorry but he wanted him to said it.

"Atsumu.."

"Yea omi."

"I-I like you."
