(Your pov)

I was on patrol during the night because of my quirk until I heard an explosion not too far from where I was 'I only know one villian with a quirk like that, Zero-v' or as I once knew him as Katsuki Bakugou the kid who aimed to be better than all might.

"YOU EXTRAS ARE JUST IN MY WAY TO MAKING THIS WORLD A BETTER PLACE!" I heard him scream before another explosion went off 'Fuck, if he keeps up with these explosions I cant use my quirk especially if a fire has caught' I thought as I ran not using my quirk.

When I made it there I skidded to a stop as I looked at the fire that spread from one place to another and there stood "Zero-V...." I said looking at him as I used what I could of my quirk to get the remaining civillians that didn't run out of there.

"Well, well, well if it isn't Nights assassin. Tch." He said taking a few steps closer to me, I instantly got into a fighting stance. "I thought you were, Katsu. Guess I was wrong." I said narrowing my eyes at him and he looked at me and his eyes widened before going back to glaring at me.

"Haha, you still have spunk thats what I always liked about you." He said chuckling and giving me a sadistic smile before walking towards me again making me keep my guard up even more and making a small sword out of my shadow.

I wielded the sword in my dominant hand and made a shield and out it in my less dominant hand and kept it up 'Either he stays there or we're fighting again like we did in the sports festival....'

(Flashback to the sports festival)

"AND NOW WE HAVE OUR FINALE, KATSUKI BAKUGOU FROM CLASS 1-A VERSUS (Y/N) (L/N) ALSO FROM CLASS 1-A!" Present mic shouted as we both walked up "You're gonna regret the day you ever applied here." Katsuki said as I got into a fighting stance focusing on his movements.

"AND BEGIN!" Present mic shouted and he ran up to me as I used my shadow to cover my body and duplicate myself using the same shadow, me and my duplicates moved around him making sure to keep him distracted while the real me was sneaking up behind him.

"HUH?! What the hell?! (L/n) I swear if you dont come out I'll blast your ass to hell!" Katsuki shouted as he looked around him at the duplicates "What do you mean? I'm right here!" I said before grabbing him by his arm and flipping him over me.

I did this before he quickly recovered and blasted an explosion near me making me lose both my balance, the shadow clones and the shadow covering my body, 'Shit, this isn't good' I thought as I feel tiredness overcome my body but quickly pushed it away as I got up and kept fighting him.

I learned his strategy quick and made my way around it making sure to stay close but not too close 'he uses explosions at a disrance to keep his opponent back, noted' I thought as I kept him in my grasp and spun around before throwing him out of bounds but not too hard.

"BAKUGOU IS OUT OF BOUNDS (Y/N) WINS!" Midnight said and I felt like I was about pass out.

(end of flashback)

I hate to think about that day because when I saw Katsuki on the podium tied up like a monster I felt my heart drop and tears slowly well up in my eyes but now as I look into his eyes I see his spirit, his soul he's still determined and from what he can tell I'm weak.

He ran up to me with that same sadistic smile although it seemed like more of a smirk, he started to make explosions relentlessly at me while I had to try and dodge 'He's gotten faster' I thought not keeping my eyes off him as he kept making explosions "WHERE DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING?!" He shouted and looked at me right in my (e/c) eyes.

"Hah, hah. This isn't the Katsuki I knew! What happend to him!?" I panted before shouting at him and he stopped for a moment "He's gone." He said bluntly looking at me and then going back to attacking me.

I got hit before I was able to get a kick on him, he grunted and fell before getting back up and grabbing me by my neck "Let me go you bastard.." I said straining to get it out due to my lack of air "Heh, look at you the hero who was so dedicated to take me down and now you're begging for me to let you go. What would happen if I let an explosion off while holding you by the neck?" He said tauntingly.

I looked at him and put my hand on his wrist and struggled to breath "Let me go-" I said before I felt air rush into my lungs again as I gasped for air on the floor and saw Deku there holding Katsuki's arm.

"Deku." Katsuki said darkly "Kacchan." Midoriya also said darkly as Katsuki made an explosion throwing Midoriya back "AHH!" Midoriya shouted as he flew back before catching himself. We saw a mist like portal appear and Katsuki look behind him "Damn, well I guess until we see eachother again Night's assassin and Deku." He said before going into the portal and disapearing.
"DAMNIT!" I screamed as I hit the ground angry we couldn't catch him.

'I'll catch you if its the last thing I do!'
"KATSUKI BAKUGOU!"
