Omar made the mess and left them all alone to clear things out, he went upstairs to prepare everything to go home. There was nothing to say. For the past ten minutes no one said a single word or even looked to the other one. Aisha was just looking down with her red eyes and felt real pain, lying to James and letting him know the truth in that way was more painful than her purple-black bruises all over her body. As for him he didn't even look at her for a second but decided suddenly to say :
'' - After a while the police and some friends will show up and I even talked to my father, so we will be safe and everyone will return to his own life before knowing each other, at least I will keep my promise.
-James please.'' She was suffering inside out and that was pretty clear but after him saying that, she felt like a knife stab in her heart.
- Aisha I don't want to talk.
- Fine don't, I will talk just listen.
- Say whatever you want I'm not listening.
-Fine!
-Fine !'' He was furious but at the same time after looking at her situation he didn't want to go so hard on her. Even if he felt the pain in his arms, knees, and most importantly his heart, she was in a worst situation, so he tried to control his self .
- Everything he said was true but he also hide some truths'' James turned to the other way to look like he's not interested in her conversation but she just continued : '' I am his wife, but I obviously never wanted to be , in my hometown Omar is a very powerful man, his literally like a gangster, my father took some money from him for his business but after a while he couldn't pay it back so one day I was coming back from my first day ever at the university to find out that he kidnapped my own brother, everybody was there crying and loosing his mind.
Two days later he accepted to make a deal with my father , I was so happy that my brother will finally come back but I never knew that I will be the only one paying the price. After returning from his house my father told me that Omar saw me a few times and liked me so he decided to marry me and in return my brother will come back home safely. ''
Suddenly James looked at her watery-eyed face to see the pain and struggle to remember all of this so he interrupted her saying '' It's okay, there's no need to continue Aisha ''.
''No, I want you to know the truth, anyways'' so she took a deep breathe and continued '' then, as you can see I had to do this to save my brother's life, but the worst thing ever is that I kind of didn't choose by myself since my father already accepted his offer, but believe me if I had the choice I will do the same thing to save my brother.
But...but, he just decided to sacrifice his daughter's life to save his son's life and my mother didn't say a single word, for them forcing their daughter to marry a monster is better than letting their son dies but I really prefer death instead of this miserable life, with him I died a thousand time every day.''.
She started laughing and at the same time wiping her tears '' Aisha stop... please'', she just sarcastically said : '' Oh C'mon James you wanted the truth, so here it is!! Isn't it a beautiful story? I have the best parents in the world right??! ''
'' So I was saying ? Ummm, Oh yes I lived the worst year of my life he used to...beat me and... he did a lot...umm the whole baby thing was just a lie to get outside the house and figure a way out...anyways in that year I didn't see my parents or friends or anyone, I was just locked up in that terrible house then with the help of my aunt I run away to the airport, try to forget my life, build a new one, find a job in this huge city then lucky me ! He found me, so I'm tied up from hours in this chair waiting to go back with him and let him take his revenge in whatever ''creative'' way he wants...THE END. ''
