let's move onto the r-sound hiragana. you'll have to roll your r's while pronouncing these. if you've watched anime, you probably know what i'm talking about.
they are a bit difficult to pronounce, but practice means progress! :]
ら = ra (pronounced rah, remember to roll r)
り = ri (pronounced ree, remember to roll r)
る = ru (pronounced roo, remember to roll r, this is the hardest one to pronounce!)
れ = re (pronounced ray, remember to roll r)
ろ = ro (pronounced row, remember to roll r)
