He removes his hand from my mouth and i cant help but smile.
Then i remember that he abandoned me and the smile slips away.
"You left me!!" I scream getting up.
" Ya, and im sorry! I went back for you okay? and you wernt there... and ive been trying to find you ever since..." He looks down at his tail and i think im starting to feel some sympathy.
Who am I kidding! Ally Wick feels no sympathy for someone who leaves her on a rock in the middle of the indean ocean, crying, all by herself! i sit back down and the tears starrt rushing.
" Listen, Ally...I know that i shouldnt have left you and i regret it 100%. Do you think you can forgive me?" james says hopefully.
"Maybe i can forgive you if you tell me why you dove off into the water leaving me stranded!" I say angrily.
He sits down beside me and leans his head back against the cave wall taking in a deep breath. before starting his story...
"so you know how you said and i quote.." But James you dont understand i need to see my family again! I cant just get knocked out and then appear on a beach with a tail its not possible!" He says in a horrible copy of my voice.
"Yes, i do remember saying that." my eyes are swelling up again hearing about my family.
" And then do you remember me saying.."Thats what i thought.?"
"Yes i do and then i remeber you diving into the ocean leaving me stranded." i say with tears in my eyes. He ignores my comment and continues.
" Well the truth is i was a human too Ally. Thats why i said that you couldnt get your legs back, because ive tried Ally....Its impossilble."
I can tell my eyes are going big and i get up standing infront of him.
"James!! Why in hell didnt you tell me!?!! You telling me... that could have avoided alot of things james!!"
He gets up to and he's standing infront of me with his hands of my shoulders. I reach my hands up and put them around him and we hug for what seems like hours.
Before he pulls away i take a deep breath.
"James?"
"Ya?"
" You know those last two words you said?"
"That its impossible...ya..."
"Well guess what? When i was little i thought that turning into a mermaid was impossible. But look at me now."
