"Of course Fiona" Chapter 1

Fiona

It was officially my first week here and I was friends with everybody already. Especially Hugh, he was really nice to me. Emma was next, she's really one of the first real friends I had that's a girl. I thought that Claire and Olive were cute. Enoch was a huge douche and Horace was kinda nice, he's always wearing the same damn suit, I wanna tell him but I rather hold grudges. Bronwyn was cool and caring. Millard is such a nerd, in a good way.
When I came here I felt shy but accepted. I showed everybody my ability and they showed me theirs. They thought it was cool and they begged for me to keep doing it.
The book I was holding in my hands fell and woke me up from my daydream I pick it up and start reading it again. After five minutes I get deep into the book.
I feel a hand grab my shoulder. I drop the book in my hand again and I hear the "boom" it causes. I scream and look behind me to see Hugh. I laugh with him. He say "hey Fiona, did I scare you?" I punch his shoulder. I sit back down Hugh Doing the same.
I wave at a plant on a table not far away. A vine comes out and starts growing towards me and Hugh. When it reaches it destination I wave at it once more and an apple appears. I say "want one?" He says "sure". I give him one sending the vine back to the plant pot.
Before he takes a bite a bee flys out his mouth. I giggle at him. Before it goes back in the way it came out I took out a seed and waved my hand over it. A root came out, then a stem, and after that a petal and daisy. The bee pollinates it and goes to the pot where the vine came from. I giggle again but this time I cover my mouth with my free hand. I can see Hugh's red blush behind the apple but only a hint of it. We stay there until dinner and what I like to call the "fireworks".
