A week had past since the terrible experience you had with your ex boyfriend. You lost some weight because no food was able to past down your throat and even if it did you ended up puking it.
Your first day of junior year was starting tomorrow and thankfully your mom had to transfer you to another school way before this whole thing exploded, which meant you weren't going to be seeing your ex in the hallways or something like that. Bad news, you weren't really good at talking to new people, at least at first, for you, it was one of the hardest things to do. Even so, you were kind of excited for this new change, maybe you could find something that could help you take your mind off things for a little while.
Surprisingly, the night before your new school day, you were able to sleep well. You wanted to look nice and fresh for your first day, you were getting really tired of looking like a depressed zombie.
You changed into the school uniform you had prepared the night before which made you laugh a little because you knew it was the only day you would have your uniform prepared for the next morning. Then, you ate your breakfast and finally headed off to your new school with your mom driving you there.
"Are you excited?" your mom asked, she was a little nervous due to the recent events.
"Yeah, I'm kind of nervous actually, but I guess that's normal..." you said being honest about what you were feeling.
"Oh it sure is normal" she smiled without taking her eyes off the road "you will do just fine, you're amazing and I'm sure you'll find great friends in aoba johsai" she took your hand trying to comfort you.
"I hope so, mom." you smiled at her even though she couldn't really see you.
You finally got there and then your mom left but not without giving you a good luck hug.
You looked at the school and let out a huge sigh before walking inside.
You were now at the director's office who was going to lead you to your classroom.
"Attention everyone!" the lady said "this is your new classmate y/n san, I hope you give her a proper welcome and make her feel comfortable, okay?"
Everyone nodded while analyzing every bit of you, you tried to give everyone a nice smile without showing your teeth.
"You can sit right there in that empty seat" the director said pointing a seat next to a boy with dark and short hair.
You thanked the director and headed straight to that seat trying not to make eye contact with anyone because you felt so awkward already.
You finally got to your seat and stayed there silently only looking at the desk in front of you.
"Hey" said the boy with the dark hair sitting next to you "my name is Iwaizumi Hajime, nice to meet you" he introduced himself giving you a warm smile and you just couldn't stop thinking about how cute he looked.
