As Sean vaulted his shattered windowsill, he started to realize the ground was a lot futher down than he anticipated. He braced for a terrible impact that awaited him two stories down, though it never came. Hitting the ground, Sean felt something tug on the skin of his nearly unusable leg.
Ignoring this minor detail, he continued to slowly stand up in the puddle of warm, sticky blood that poured from multiple places in his right leg. Sean was determined to walk with an unusuable leg to the gate that stood gaurd infront of him, and open it. He was able to walk with a large limp at first, but as he grew slower, his breathtaking agony caught up with him.
Collapsing to the floor, he let out a deafening scream of agony that was audible for miles. Finally paying attention to his leg, Sean noticed a white shard of lethally sharp bone tearing out of his fleshy leg in the place of his shin. He knew he wasn't going to make it without help. His twitching hands reached for his phone just for a last ditch effort not to die. After that moment, he blacked out, not knowing who he called or what he said, just knowing that this was the end.
Nearly seconds later, an old four seater car that was sun-damaged red parked itself outside of Sean's driveway, before two silhouettes of men got out of the car and sprinted towards Sean's dying body, at least that was the last thing he remembered.
"Shit! He's hurt badly!" The taller man spoke, keeping a lower tone.
"Lift on three!" the other figure yelled. "One, Two, Three!"
Yelling and lifting in unison, Sean was lifted off the ground and put into the backseat of the automobile. As the shorter man got into the backseat with Sean, the car drove away from the trail of blood. Sean was barely conscious during the following conversations, so much so that he couldn't realize that the two men abducting him were his Uncle, Carl, and his roommate, Richard.
The absolute first thing Richard did was take off his shirt in the freezing cold black night of Lohan city, to save Sean from bleeding out.
"He's already lost way too much blood!" Richard started to stress.
"Then do something!" Carl yelled back, as he drove over a pothole.
"I can't do shit if you're moving too much!" Richard struggled to hold his hands onto Sean's near unfixable leg."
"We're in a car moving at 50 fucking miles per hour, shut up!"
Richard rudimentarily attempted to push Sean's bone back into where it came out of, though this did nothing but make Sean become conscious for a moment, only to scream in agony and deafen both men in the car.
"RICHARD!" Carl yelled, as he swerved back into the open freeway lane he was once speeding through.
He stayed quiet, realizing his mistake had only caused Sean to bleed even more. "Just get to the nearest hospital" Richard urged.
"There's no time!" Carl started to breathe heavily.
"No time?" Richard's face blew off a calm look to reveal a surprised one.
"We can make it home faster! He'll have a better chance there! Besides, you have some of your equipment from school there right?" Carl yelled over the chatter of his own thoughts.
"ARE YOU INSANE?" Richard squealed. "THIS WASN'T A PART OF THE PLAN! YOU SAID WE'D PICK HIM UP IF WE GOT HIS CALL, HOW'D YOU KNOW THIS WOULD HAPPEN ANYWAYS? DO YOU WANT TO KILL A MOTHER FUCKING CHILD?"
"RICH," Carl began, but couldn't finish. "I CAN'T, I JUST CAN'T. JUST STABILIZE HIM PLEASE"
"YOU'RE FUCKING INSANE" Richard yelled, while reaching with his bloodstained hand for a first aid kit underneath him. Realizing he couldn't bandage Sean's leg because of the bone penetrating his skin, Richard had an intrusive thought that led to the conclusion of this series of events, yet he ignored it for the moment and begged his dear friend to arrive at a hospital soon.
"Richard I-" Carl paused for a complete moment of near silence. All that was heard were the tires grazing the asphalts surface, until Carl shattered the silence with the words "I just can't do that."
Any and every other attempt that Richard had to hospitalize Sean was drowned out by Carl's inner voices. What felt like mere seconds later, Carl parked in front of an apartment complex and swiftly opened his car door without caring about the vehicle he was just in.
"Get him up there!" Carl demanded, while opening the door to fill they dying boys lungs with fresh air.
Richards heart started beating insanely quickly, as he yelled "One..two..three..lift!" Signaling to lift up the boy.
"Up, we gotta go up the stairs" Carl sighed, with a determined look on his face.
Each man got progressively exhausted with each step, as they finally got to the door. Eventually, they made their way through the door and past the kitchen, into one of two bedrooms and onto the bed.
"What's next!?!?" Carl yelled as Rich examined Seans leg.
"He's lost way too much blood and I cant do anything about his shattered bone." Rich implied.
"So what do we do?!"
Sean started to fade in and out of consciousness, hearing the two men through very muffled and blood-deprived eardrums.
"WE HAVE TO DO THIS, IT'S OUR ONLY OPTION!" Sean heard.
"ALRIGHT DO IT!"
Sean now lost his sight, but not his hearing.
"Is he out yet?" a voice asked.
"His eyes are closed, but he might still have hearing so keep it down." another responded.
"Get the procedure started already, I'll go lock the door and get comfy."
"Can you get me the axe?"
The boy had now lost both his hearing and sight, just as Richard started to say "We'll begin the amputation."
