"What?! Calum, I did not do that!" Having lunch with Luke and Calum was turning out to be very entertaining. Calum told stories about Luke and his past experience with the band. I stifled a laugh behind my hand as Calum told me about the time Luke had gone onstage wearing spandex.
"Here's your order, guys. Hope you enjoy!" Said the waiter as he placed our food in front of us. Calum took a huge bite of his burger as Luke asked, "So, Bryn, what are you doing in Australia?"
"Well, I came here to go to the Australian Institute of Music here in Sydney. School doesn't start until September, though." Calum gasped and turned to Luke.
"Luke! We live right near there! She should come with us!" Luke nodded and Calum and whispered something to him. Calum whispered something back.
"Hey boys, I'm right here. What's up?" I said. Luke and Calum folded their hands at the same time and I tried not to laugh.
"Bryn, you're going to AIM for singing, right?" Luke asked.
"Yeah, for musical theatre. Why?" I replied.
"Well, we have an house right by there, and since Calum and I really like you, we want you to stay with us." I blink, bewildered.
"Um...I just got here, you've known me for like 2 hours, and you want me to live with you," I ask. The boys nod their heads simultaneously. "Uh...that's really..." It seemed odd that they wanted me to agree to live with them, just like that, when they barely know me.
"I'll tell you what. I'll call my friend Elia, get her advice, and then decide, okay?" I told them.
"Okay. We'll wait." Said Calum. I left to go outside and dialed Elia's number.
"Hi!" I said.
"Hey! What's up? How was the flight?" She replied.
"It was long. But I have something to tell you. So you know the band 5 Seconds of Summer I used to be obsessed with?" I told her.
"Yeah. I didn't like them much."
"Well, I just met two of them, Luke and Calum, and they want me to live with them while I go to AIM."
"Woah! Really? No way! What did you them?"
"I don't know, I called you! I don't know what to tell them, I just met them! I'm 16! I'd be living with 20 year olds! Is that safe?!"
"Well, it might not be safe. But they are an attractive bunch. I say go with them. Take advantage of it!"
"You do realize I'd be living with them, right?"
"Yeah. You wouldn't have to pay rent, you'd have a band to sing with at your disposal, and they are attractive. Who knows? Love might spring up!" I could hear Elia's grin in her voice.
"I don't know...it doesn't sound like the best idea."
"Then tell them you'll try living with them for 3 weeks. Just 3 weeks. Then you can decide whether or not you want to live permanently with them."
"Okay. Thanks, Elia. Talk to you later."
I hung up the phone and walked back into the restaurant. Luke and Calum were sharing a milkshake. It was so cute, I had half a mind to take a picture. But, I sat down and laced my hands together.
"Boys, I've thought about your offer."
"And?" They both asked.
"I will live with you guys for 3 weeks. Then I'll decide whether or not to live with you." They both grinned and high fived each other. I giggled and we all shared a celebratory milkshake. Suddenly, a girl burst through the door and yelled, "There he is! Get him!" The girl and about 10 other girls charged. They charged straight at our booth.A/N: Chapter 2!
