Daiki had stopped paying attention to the sports festival for a while until after the short break in between the one on one fights and the challenges before where he went to get a large meal as he was waiting for the 1v1's. It was now that time, beginning with class 1-A Izuku Midoriya and class 1-C Hitoshi Shinso. Midoriya held strong determination on his face, at the same time Shinso gives off his own face of determination that is slightly creepier than Midoriya's.

Shinso begins talking to him to get a reaction and reply from the green haired boy. He finally says something that makes Midoriya snap and shout at the indigo haired student who was smirking as he used his quirk.

Midoriya's eyes suddenly went blank and lightly dull. Shinso gave out commands that Midoriya mindlessly followed. It was until Midoriya was at the edge of the ring did he finally get a way out of Shinso's quirk. Shinso started freaking out and yelling things out to try and get another reply while Midoriya walked over to him.

When Midoriya was close enough Shinso tried pushing and punching him away. When he got pushed to the edge again he grabbed Shinso's arm and threw him over his shoulder. Midnight shouted out that Midoriya was the victor.

After the two had walked out of the arena two other students were introduced. Those being two from the hero course, class 1-A. Shoto Todoroki and Hanta Sero. This match didn't last very long, seeing as immediately as the announcement to start was out of Midnight's mouth Todoroki created a large chunk of ice that covered his opponent completely.

The battle after that was also quick. Class 1-A Denki Kaminari had gone up against Ibara Shiozaki from class 1-B. Shiozaki had easily defeated him with her vines after Kaminari used his full power at the beginning that had caused him to go dumb.

The next battle was interesting to say the least. Support Course Mei Hatsume made hero course Tenya Iida into a model to show off her 'babies' to the world. It worked too, the stadium loved her work. After she finished her little show that made Daiki laugh loudly, wishing she was his student she stepped out of the ring without another word.

Then after that Mina Ashido had easily beaten Yuga Aoyama, both in the hero course, class 1-A. Fumikage Tokoyami had pushed Momo Yaoyorozu out of bounds using Dark Shadow. Eijiro Kirishima and Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu had a draw because of their quirks and brute strength.

And for the final battle of the first rounds, Ochaco Uraraka vs Katsuki Bakugo. This was... brutal, but there were few people who saw that the ash blonde understood and respected the brunette's strength. Daiki Aikawa, Shota Aizawa, and Katsuki Bakugo.

The boy wasn't toying with her like all the heroes had shouted, he knew her strength and how she was worthy to be where she was. Aizawa had begun standing up to the heroes- if they could even be called that from the way that they were acting.

After a short while Uraraka had been defeated, even with her truly amazing plan. Daiki started walking away from his spot as the girl was taken out of the arena.

When he arrived at the waiting room he heard crying from inside, using his animal hearing. He made sure he didn't hear anyone else talking before walking inside.

"Oh Mr. Aikawa, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be watching everyone else?" Uraraka questions as she quickly wiped her tears. She was sitting at the table with her hands on it.

"Uraraka, don't get yourself down for one loss. A loss is still an achievement if you learn from it." He advises. Her head perks up as she looks at him with her mouth slightly open. "You learned something, didn't you? If you did then you won as well. There is more than just losing a battle. There are other ways to accomplish things." Daiki continues with a smirk that she still can't see.

Those were the last words he spoke before leaving the room and returning to his standing place next to Endeavor.
