Members: Namjoon and Jin of BTS (Bangtan Boys)
Description: Despite the fact that he forgot, Namjoon ends up having a special Valentine's Day with his boyfriend, Jin.
Genre: Slight smut, fluff
Inspiration: My brain.
The bright light of morning shined through the window of Jin's apartment. With his eyes squeezed shut, he sat up in his bed and removed the cramps from his arms by stretching. He then proceeded to move to the edge of the bed and grab his phone off the side table. After having typed in his passcode, he saw that he had a text from his boyfriend, Namjoon, and smiled.
From: Namjoonie <3
Good morning, beautiful. I hope you slept well last night. I have to work today, but I'll try to call you whenever I get the chance, okay? Love you.

"Not a Happy Valentine's day or anything?" Jin said as he stared at his phone in disbelief. "Aish...jin jja?" He turned his phone off and threw it on his bed before standing up and heading to the bathroom.

"Are you being serious?" Jungkook asked Jin after he had told him what happened that morning. "He didn't even say Happy Valentine's Day to you?"
"Nope, he said love you and that he'd try to call me whenever he had got the chance, but nothing else," Jin said in a pissed off tone of voice.
"You think he forgot?" Jungkook said.
"Pssh, I wouldn't be surprised if he did at this point," Jin said before he sat back in his chair.
"I just can't believe that," Jungkook said as he shook his head. "I never thought he would be the one to forget something as important as this. I mean, he was the one who has an anniversary for practically everything you to do together."
"I know right," Jin said. "Just wait until I see him. I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind."
"You deserve to," Jungkook said in agreement, making Jin nod. "I think I'd kill Jimin if he ever did that to me."
"Well, he's lucky he's still breathing as far as I'm concerned," Jin said. "At least Jimin acknowledged the fact that it was Valentine's Day to you. I'm gonna laugh if he even tries to apologize to me."
"What else would you do?" Jungkook said. "Hell, I'd probably dump his ass."
"He'll be lucky if I don't," Jin said.
Jin wasn't and had never been the type of person to really care about Valentine's Day too much, but that all changed when he and Namjoon started dating. It was like every first they had together became its own holiday to them. So, the fact that Namjoon forgot an actual holiday made Jin very upset. He just couldn't understand how Namjoon could actually forget Valentine's Day.

After spending some more time with Jungkook, Jin decided to go back to his apartment and just watch something on television. By that time, night had already began to settle in and he was just sitting on the couch, his body tucked comfortably under a blanket, as he flipped through the channels. His phone lit up with a text message. He looked over at his bright screen and rolled his eyes when he saw it was from Namjoon.
"Sure, now you text me, jerk," Jin scuffed as he turned his phone off. Only minutes later his phone went off again, but he still ignored it out of pure frustration. The ringtone managed to sound once more before he actually looked at the texts.

Despite the fact that he was still pissed, Jin exited his messages and called Namjoon. The phone rang for a few minutes before Namjoon picked up.
"Hey, why didn't you answer any of my texts?" Namjoon asked innocently.
"Do I really have to answer that?" Jin replied, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Uh...yes," Namjoon said, baffled as to why his boyfriend was so upset. "What's wrong with you? You're acting like I did something wrong."
"That's cause you did do something wrong, Namjoon," Jin said. "You did, arguably, the worst possible thing you could do in a relationship."
"And what would that be?" Namjoon questioned. Jin just sighed in frustration.
"You know what, forget it," Jin said. "It's not even a big deal anymore."
"If it's making you this upset then it must be," Namjoon said. "Look, just tell me."
"No, it's not worth it," Jin perservered.
"Okay then..." Namjoon said, his voice trailing off. "Then can you at least come over? I miss you." Jin remained silent for a few seconds, contemplating whether or not he should.
"Fine," he said with a brief sigh. "I'll be there in ten."
"Okay," Namjoon said. "I love you."
"Yeah," Jin said as he got off the couch and turned the television off. He then hung up and proceeded to get himself ready to go out into the cold night.

A knock on the door startled Namjoon as he was sitting on the couch until he realized who must be at the door. He stood up from the couch and walked over to the door before twisting it open.
"Hey, that was quick," he said with a faint smile on his lips.
"I said I'd be here in ten minutes, didn't I?" Jin said, leaving Namjoon to feel a bit taken back. He stood out in the empty hall for a few more seconds before walking inside the cozy apartment.
"Are you gonna tell me what's wrong or do I have to force it out of you?" Namjoon said after he shut the door and followed Jin over to the couch.
"Why do you even care?" Jin asked, shrugging his shoulders and making a baffled look appear on Namjoon's face. "I mean, why should I tell you what's wrong when you probably won't even remember?"
"Jin, what are you talking about?" Namjoon asked, kneeling down on the ground in front of his lover.
"Do you know what day today is?" Jin inquired, looking right at Namjoon's face. Namjoon said nothing, just stayed in the same spot as he waited for Jin to continue. "You don't, do you?"
"Would I be here if I did?" Namjoon replied with a small chuckle, causing Jin to roll his eyes and scuff.
"Today is Valentine's Day," he finally said. "You know, that day that everyone in the world usually celebrates their love for someone. That's what today is, Namjoon. But did you remember, no you didn't. I woke up this morning expecting to at least a Happy Valentine's Day text or some flowers or something, but all I got was 'I have work today, so I'll talk to you whenever I get the chance.' Do you even get how much that hurts considering we practically have an anniversary for every little thing we do together. I mean, for God's sake, Namjoon, if you can manage to remember all those dates, how can you not remember an actual-"
Jin's rant was cut off by Namjoon suddenly crashing his lips onto Jin's pink ones. Jin stared, wide eyed, at him for awhile before he eventually shut his eyes. A few more kisses were born before Jin found his back pressed against the cushions of Namjoon's couch with Namjoon hovering over him.
The long kiss was broken once Namjoon pulled back and peered into Jin's surprised eyes.
"I'm sorry, Jin," he said sincerely and honestly. "My mind was just so wrapped up with work that I didn't even realize Valentine's Day was so close."
"Well, it was," Jin pouted, a small feeling of guilt starting to seap into his skin.
"I swear, I didn't mean to forget it," Namjoon continued. "It just slipped my mind. You have to believe me." Jin just turned his head away, trying to avoid eye contact with the younger. "Look, I know you were expecting something huge and grand, but even if I did remember I wouldn't have done that because I don't need to do that to prove my love for you." Jin's head moved back to its original spot once he heard Namjoon's words.
"I love you, Jin, and I shouldn't have to tell you that on one day and one day only," Namjoon continued. "I want to tell you that everyday for the rest of our lives."
"You really mean that?" Jin asked softly, his eyes starting to fill with tears.
"Baby, of course I do," Namjoon said, stroking the side of Jin's head gently with his hand. "You're the love of my life and you deserve to hear me say that to you everyday, not just on one stupid day."
"Yeah, I guess you're right," Jin chuckled, now feeling like an idiot. "Valentine's Day is kind of pointless and stupid."
"Kind of?" Namjoon said with a smile on his lips.
"Okay, a lot," Jin said as a louder chuckle escaped his mouth. "Mianhae. I shouldn't have made such a big deal about it. Mianhae."
"Hey, don't beat yourself up over it," Namjoon said. "It wasn't your fault. It's only human nature to feel like that when someone forgets something that's important to you."
"How can I make it up to you?" Jin asked, a soft and apologetic look in his brown eyes. A lustful smirk began to grow on Namjoon's lips as he leaned and planted a passionate kiss on the elder's lips.
"You can start by walking yourself back to my bedroom," Namjoon said into Jin's ear, his low and husky voice sending a shiver down Jin's spine. He moved away from Jin's ear and pecked his nose with a kiss before removing himself from above him.
Then, Jin sat up from his previous position and took hold of Namjoon's hand before he was led back to the bedroom.A/N to dedicated:
Sorry there was really no smut in this...I planned this to be completely different but then this just kind of happened. I hope you still like it, though!
