Members: Hongbin, Leo, and Hyuk of VIXX

It had been a pretty uneventful day for the six members of VIXX, or five now that their leader, N, was filming for a new drama he was going to be in. He didn't have much time left until he could come back home, about a week or so, and all the members, even the ever so silent Leo, were looking forward to seeing him.
The five boys were gathered in the living room, Ravi, Hongbin, and Ken occupying the couch, while Leo and Hongbin sat on the ground.
Hongbin had liked Leo for quite some time now, he lost exact count at this point. Although Leo was a quiet one, he always found some way to fascinate Hongbin. It boggled his mind how someone with such an amazing voice could be so soft spoken. That's how it all started. As a fascination.
Hyuk watched as Hongbin deliberately moved closer to Leo. He noticed that the older had been more clingy towards his other hyung ever since the day that N left for filming. N and Leo shared a "special" relationship, as the public new at least. To the other members, they were just flat out dating. N was pretty much the only one who could get a smile or laugh out of Leo, and who wouldn't want to date someone who makes them smile and laugh?
Hyuk knew what that felt like, to only have one person who could bring out a side of you that you never knew you had. Too bad for him that person was Hongbin. He knew Hongbin liked Leo, so he couldn't help but feel envy towards him. He got to be around Hongbin all the time, even if he didn't want to, and Hyuk didn't.
Hyuk and Hongbin used to be closer. That was when N was around to distract Leo from the younger. Hyuk, probably more than all the other members, wanted N to come home. He needed N to come home.

"Okay, hyung, we'll see you tomorrow then!" Ravi said into the phone excitedly before hanging up. "Guys, that was N!" he shouted throughout the dorm. All the members, except Leo who was in the bathroom, gathered to hear what the rapper of the group had to say.
"Well, tell us, what did he say," Ken pushed impatiently.
"He said that his filming has ended and he'll be home tomorrow," Ravi said with a smile. They cheered and then Leo walked out, looking lost.
"What's going on?" he asked, looking at them all strangely.
"N hyung will be back tomorrow!" Ravi repeated with extra pep in his voice. Leo just nodded his head, when in all reality his heart was jumping for joy.
"Cool," he said before walking off to his bedroom.
"Sometimes I wonder if he has any emotions," Ken commented. A few members chuckled at his words.
"Hey, we should plan something for him, you know like a homecoming party," Hyuk suggested just as the idea popped in his head.
"Yeah," Ken said, nodding.
"That's a good idea Hyukkie," Ravi said, messing up the younger's blonde hair.
"Let's start now so we'll have it done in time," Ken said. They all agreed and started planning his part happily.
Of course Hongbin was happy that N was returning, after all, he was their leader and one of his best friends. But his homecoming also meant that he would steal Leo away from him again. That meant he would never get to be around the person he liked, possibly even loved. What's the point of loving someone if you never get the chance to be with them?

"Okay, everyone quiet," Ravi said, peeking out the window as N's car pulled up. "He's here."
"Hide!" Ken half yelled and half whispered. "Hyukkie, get the lights." Hyuk did as he was told and quickly flicked the light switch, making the room go dark. They waited in the silence until they heard the door creak open and footsteps walk in.
"I'm back," N's familiar voice said cheerfully. "Hello? Is anyone here? Where is everybody?" He flipped the lights on and that's when they all jumped up from their hiding spots and shouted,
"Welcome home, N!" N smiled and laughed a little as he removed his bag from his shoulder, setting it on the floor below him.
"We missed you!" Ken said, stealing the first hug from their leader.
"I missed you guys, too," N said, going around to each member and taking them in his embrace. "Hyukkie, have you stayed out of trouble while I was gone?"
"I tried to," Hyuk replied with a smile. N chuckled and hugged him tightly. "Where's Leo?" he asked once he broke the hug.
"Right here," Leo said, casually walking out into the living room with others.
"Leo!" N said, running over and practically choking the life out of the black haired boy. "I really missed you."
"That's nice, N," Leo said, still covering up how happy he actually was. N knew this, so he was okay with Leo's cold greeting. In fact, he wouldn't have been accepted any other greeting from him.
"We made you a cake, hyung," Hyuk said, causing N to break away from Leo and face him, instead now taking Leo's hand in his.
"Oh, yummy," N said, dragging Leo over with him to look at the cake. "And it's pretty! Thanks, guys. I really love all of this."
"Good because it took a lot of thinking," Ravi said, getting a laugh from mostly everyone. Then they all ate cake and listened to N as he told stories about filming.

It was late and all six of the members were now tucked in bed comfortably. Except Hongbin who was up on his computer, watching random videos on YouTube. Hyuk had gotten up to go to the bathroom and was surprised when he saw that his hyung was still up, but he knew why.
"Hyung, are you okay?" Hyuk asked, taking a seat on the edge of Hongbin's bed. Hongbin looked up at the maknae and plastered on a fake smile as he nodded his head.
"Yeah," he said. "I'm happy that N is back. It wasn't the same without him."
"Yeah," Hyuk said, his voice trailing off. "Well, I'm gonna go to bed. Good night, hyung."
"Good night, Hyukkie," Hongbin replied, going back to the screen in front of him. It had been a while since Hongbin had called him that, a month to be precise. Hyuk missed the way it sounded when he said it.
"Hyung?" Hyuk said, sitting back up after having layed down for a short few seconds. Hongbin's brown eyes shifted to the blonde again.
"Yeah?" he said. Hyuk didn't know where to go from there. He wanted so badly to just confess his love for him, but he didn't know how to make it sound right. He didn't know how to make him understand.
"What would you do if someone you never thought would like you confessed to you suddenly?" Hyuk asked. "Would you be mad at that person?"
"Of course not, I mean, depending on who it was, of course," Hongbin answered. "Why do you ask?"
"I don't know," Hyuk shrugged. "It was just a question." Hongbin smiled a little and then took his attention away from the younger again.
Now is your chance, Hyuk thought to himself.
"Hyung," Hyuk said rather loudly, catching the older off guard. "I love you. I always have. Since the day we met, you were so nice to me and I just...I just fell in love with you." Hongbin didn't know what to say. The maknae's confession was so sudden, he didn't have to time to react properly. "I don't expect you to love me back or anything because I know you like Leo hyung more. I-I just needed to tell you. I needed you to know how I really felt."
It was evident that was Hyuk was about to cry, so he quickly layed back down and brought the covers over his head.
It's done now, Hyuk thought. At least he knows.
Hongbin just stared at the younger, trying to figure out what to do. He had no idea Hyul felt that way about him and couldn't believe that he did. It was true, he loved Leo, but what kind of person would he be if he let someone as fragile as Hyul down?
When he thought about it, Hyuk had been there for him whenever he needed. He was always there to talk to him when he was sad or excited. All those times he couldn't be with Leo, he was with Hyuk and it was like Leo didn't even exist in his heart.
Hongbin, making his decision, shut down his laptop and shoved it under his bed. He arose from bed and took small steps over to the younger's bed across the room. He peeled the covers off of Hyuk's head before laying down beside him, wrapping his arms around the smaller. Hyuk's muscles tensed up at the feeling and his breathing started to shorten.
"I can't tell you I love you, too," Hongbin began, "because I don't want to lie to you. But I can tell you that I can definitely try to." Hyuk turned around to his other side, so he was now facing his black haired hyung.
"Really? But what about Leo? You can't just forget about the first person you loved," Hyuk said, inadverently disappointing himself.
"I know," Hongbin said with a sigh. "And I won't." Hyuk didn't get understand what he meant at first, but then smiled faintly at the older. Hongbin smiled back, his dimples making themselves present.
Hongbin kissed Hyuk's forehead lightly and allowed him to snuggle in closer to him.
One step closer, Hyuk thought.
