You have had a crush on Demi for a while now. Demi feels the same and finally, one of you does something about it.

You were just about to leave the diner because you just finished your shift. It was like 9:30 at night, the diner usually stays open until 11. You had just picked up your things and made your way to the front door to leave. As you approach the door, you said your goodbyes to everyone. Before hand, you were looking for Demi to say goodnight but you couldn't find her. Since she's on the schedule for tomorrow, you thought it would be fine to just leave.
So you walked out the door and began to walk down the sidewalk. You apartment wasn't that far away, maybe ten minutes walking tops. But just before you could get any further from the diner, there was a call of your name.
"Y/n!" Demi caught up to you.
You turned around at the sound of her voice and your name being called.
"I was just making sure we're still on for that date tomorrow." She lightly smiled.
"Yeah, nothing's changed over here." You smiled back.
Demi leaned in and lightly pecked your lips before smiling. You two gazed in each other's eye for a moment or so before she had to back and finish her shift. Once she left your sight, you continued your way home and that smile never left your face because you were finally in a good place.
