Ch. 12 Revenge and Loss

Momo POV

I walked along with Bakugo as we headed further into the forest. The walk was quiet and our footsteps along with the bushes rustling drowned out the silence. Bakugo stopped and turned to me.

Bakugo: I'm sorry for what I did to you before. I was angered by your boyfriend's strength and capabilities. I was only feeding my ego as Dek- Midoriya wanted to help me. I rejected his help thinking that I was the strongest out of everyone of our school.

I stayed and saw him walking again. I walked behind him and continued listening to him talk. I learned of his past and his wrong doings.

Bakugo: The most regretful thing I did was...telling Midoriya how weak he was. How that being a weak person, that he should jump off a building...to get better luck with getting a better quirk.

It reminded me of Y/n's attempt of suicide in his dream thinking I cheated on him. I then responded.

Momo: Well, instead of regret, you can exchange that regret and use it to "make up" for all things to Midoriya. I'm sure he wouldn't expect it but would not take you for granted. From before, I noticed how he looked up to you. He wouldn't hesitate to accept your change in heart.

We stopped seeing a Class 1-B student pop out. We froze only to see them knocked out. Then a pink smoke surrounded the area. I created gas masks for Bakugo and I and we both put them on. The Class 1-B students from within the area ran back as I handed them gas masks. They thanked us and ran back. I did what Y/n asked of us and ran back to our previous location.

Y/n POV

Izuku was walking with me before seeing an explosion appear near the Pro heroes were at. I jumped up and saw a gas cloud appear. My eyes widened as I knew Momo was there. Then, I remembered that Bakugo was with her so I grew a look of determination. We ran to the pro heroes and saw them fighting villains. Pixie Bob was unconscious while Mandalay and Tiger fighting a sword wielding lizard with a guy with suction cupped lips. They stood no chance as they couldn't land a hit. I ran in front of them and stood guard.

Mandalay: Where is Kota? He isn't here!

Y/n: Damnit! He must be back at his secret base. Midoriya! Get to this location and find Kota!

Midoriya: Right!

He runs off in green electric aura as I stand with Mandalay and Tiger. The villains took close inspection before grinning.

Lizard: Well well well. You're the guy we need to bring back.

Y/n: Sorry, I don't swing that way, and I hate lizards.

Lizard: Oh you son of a- Gah?!

I appeared infront of him with a fist in his gut, making him gasp for air. I pushed in deep as he groaned in pain.

Lizard: Take your fist out of me.

Y/n: Ok.

I reeled in my fist back quick as he gasped for air.

Lizard: Not at the same time!

I kicked him away as he was knocked unconscious. The big lips guy charged at me before I stood my ground. He hit me with his huge metallic rod as I stood there, breaking it without a scratch. He stepped back. I put two fingers to his chest and did a one inch punch. He gasped for air as he held his chest before axe kicking him down. He laid there unconscious.
