I sat down at the dining room table. Both my Mother and Father sat opposite ends of the table. Everyone ate breakfast calmly and peacefully whereas I didn't even take a bite. I was just thinking about the killing.

"Honey. Why aren't you eating?. Bacon and eggs are your favorite." My mom questioned

I dubiously ate breakfast for my Mother's sake. Once I finished eating, I thanked my mom with a happy look on my face pretending to be fine. I got my backpack and rushed to school. Everyone was asking me about the party but I didn't answer. Why? u may be thinking. It's because I was too focused and caught up with figuring out who killed Mark. Everyone was staring at me. As I went inside the school, Liam and Mia were waiting for me by their lockers.

"Hey, Michelle!" Mia greeted me with a warm smile, engulfing me with a hug. She thought that would cheer me up but that didn't. Their faces turned upside down.

"Listen. Let's forget about yesterday. I know it's distressing but you just have to get over it. We couldn't do anything about it." Liam stated in a subdued voice.

"HOW CAN I GET OVER IT. WE SAW HIM GETTING KILLED." I replied in anger and ran to the toilets. I was crying. No one understands. My parents don't and my "friends" don't. I hate my life.

Mia grabbed some of her textbooks she needed for the day and placed them into her backpack. How was she not bothered about the tragic situation? And where was Riley at the time? Everything stressed me out. Who was going to die next...

For the rest of the school day, I never participated in lessons or even talked to my "Friends". I just wanted my life to end.

After school finished, I was walking back home until I saw Riley. She looked very suspicious. Looking back and forth. It was as if she threw something behind the bushes. Once she walked away, I immediately looked behind every bush until I saw something that changed my whole perspective of her fake persona. It was a knife that had blood on it. I knew it. Riley killed Mark or did she. Who's house did we go to... Did Riley kill Mark with the help of another anonymous person.

I didn't want to confront her because if she wasn't the killer, she would think I betrayed her. I needed more evidence.

I got a notification on my phone and you will never believe what it said. It's Nate johnson's party at 4. He is another popular kid from school. Every girl admires him. I was hesitant to go there but I didn't want Nate to die. So I quickly got dressed and called a taxi. Once I reached the party I called Nate. (Don't ask me how I had his number. That's a story I can tell for another day) He wasn't answering. Nate was probably drunk like always. I was not surprised.

Bodies were pressed against one another, drunkenly dancing. I saw one of Nate's friends and asked him where he was but instead, he just peer pressured me to drink the alcohol. As I took the shot, I felt the burning sensation of Alcohol burn my throat. I replied again and asked him where Nate was. He just started dancing. He probably didn't even understand me. I barged through the drunk crowd but Nate was nowhere to be seen. Let me guess, he was about to get murdered?

"WHERE IS NATE JOHNSON. HAVE ANY OF YOU GUYS SEEN HIM?" I announced at the top of my lungs whilst standing up on the table that was covered with cups. No-one listened but instead, everyone was sloppily making out. Why do people even get drunk? I questioned myself. I dialed the number 911 on my phone. A few moments later, the Sounds of sirens seemed so faint, yet so close. When the police came, the TV turned on. It was like before. The murder was about to begin. I begged the police to check outside. That was the worst choice I've ever made. The police found the murderer but he ran away like he always does. The killer stumbled and nearly fell over. He pushed up and over the backyard fence onto the street and made a run for it. He rounded four different streets hoping to not get caught. The Murderer leaned heavily onto his knees, attempting to catch a breath. I was so frustrated and stressed. The police ran to Nate and cut the rope that was squeezing his neck.

Inside the house everyone locked the doors and windows.

"Hey dude, i really need to go. My mom is literally gonna fucking beat me if she finds out the cops were here" The blond haired male scratched his forehead nervously.

"You can't go. The killer is out there. Would you rather live or die" His friend answered back

In a trice, we heard gunshots fired. It sounded like it was coming from upstairs. Everyone hid behind the furniture that was upside down. People were hiding behind the tables, chairs, or even hid themselves in the cabinets. It was a total mess. But i needed to know if Riley was actually killing everyone hence i slowly went upstairs and ran into a bedroom. I prayed to God and persuaded him to let me live. I gradually opened the door hoping it wouldn't make a sound. As I looked side to side I didn't see anyone. All I saw was a window that was open. I already knew she escaped...
