Katie's POV:
The sun was setting as I started to make my way back home only to be greeted with both birds standing in front of me just a few feet away.
"Uh... Hi?" Was all I could say as I closed the door. There was complete silence for a moment before Hawks spoke.
"We have something to ask you. But first." He looked at Dicarius to which he nodded. Both boys raised their wings to show that both of their wings had healed.
My heart dropped as I didn't realize how much time had passed... This was it then. "Oh... Your wings have healed. Congrats." I said with a nervous smile. both put their wings down.
"Well be able to go back to our worlds now." Dica said but something in his voice seemed a little off. He then leaned forward.
"After we'd figure out a little problem."
"Oh?" I asked surprisingly. "And that is?" They both looked at each other before Hawks spoke again.
"Over the past few days you have taken care of us more than what we both had expected. As much as we have our differences and live in different worlds, you helped us no matter what and this might sound a bit crazy but-"
"We sort of momentarily now have feelings towards you.'' dica finished Hawks sentence as my cheeks flushed red. "S-so your saying is-"
"Who is it that you love more. We are aware that we are not the only one who is having a set of feelings towards a certain person." Dicarius spoke in a rather calm voice.
"So who's it gonna be songbird~?"
"Me or black raven here?''
