Missing You

Chapter 9

Dara's POV

" I have to go back soon because... I need to prepare for my wedding. "

"Wedding?! With who? When? How did you meet? " Jiyong bombarded me with questions.

"Uhm..yes. I believe this has nothing to do with our business so I will refuse to answer your question."

I cannot look at him after answering. He seems very...hurt and angry. But why would he? He is the one who left me and ended our relationship.

Third Person POV

Eversince Jiyong arrived at the restaurant, Bom already observed that there is something going in between her cousin and Dara. Her cousin don't usually attend dinners with client unless it will benefit him or the company. And as far as she knows Osiris is just one of the many subsidiaries of the Kwon Corp. It has little to no effect to the stability of the company that his full attention is not needed. Not now..not ever.

Her thoughts are in full gear as of the moment, connecting all the little pieces together to make sense what is happening in front of her. Then something clicked. She remember her cousin being so devastated in the past because of a girl. They almost lost him due to what happened that their grandfather admitted him to a psychiatric ward for a few months.

Witnessing how her cousin behave in front of Sandara confirmed her speculations. It was amusing to see but it worries her. She knows that their grandfather and her uncle has something to do with what happened with the two. And she knows that this new will probably travel fast and will be reported to their grandfather or worse he already know.

Her reverie ended when she heard Dara's response to Jiyong's question.

"Yah! Jiyong, why do ask so many questions?! Stop it will you? Can't you see how uncomfortable Ms. Park has become?" Bom berated her cousin.

Jiyong was about to answer Dara but due to her interruption he stopped. But she also received a death glare which did not affect her.

Knowing how irritated her cousin had become, she decided to end their meeting.

" I think we already discussed all the necessary items we need to discussed so let's end this dinner meeting. I will ask my secretary to prepare a room for you in Osiris to be your temporary office. Please let me know all the things you will need so that we can include it in the preparation, ne? "

" Okay Ms. Bom, I will e-mail it to you later. Thank you very much. " Dara responded.

The dinner exhausted Dara and she fell asleep on the car on their way home. Seeing her being bothered by Kwon Jiyong makes Donghae uneasy. He saw how the news of Dara's wedding did not go well with the guy, which bothered him. Donghae knew what Jiyong feels because he almost felt the same way though not as intense as the latter. Because he knew that his bestfriend is seeing someone in Canada, but never did he thought that it will end to marriage that shocked him when he heard it from Dara. He is sad that he missed his chance again but at the same time he is happy that his bestfriend found someone whom she can now spend the rest of her life with.

In contrary to Donghae, Kwon Jiyong cannot explain the heaviness that his heart has been feeling upon knowing that the woman he wanted to spend his life with will now belong to someone he is not. With a balled fist and a heavy heart, Kwon Jiyong went home.

Because of the wedding, the chance of him getting back with Dara became slimmer.

Chanyeol  arrived at the restaurant a moment late. He saw his noona and hyung leaving. He missed his chance to talk to the Dara. But he did not lose hope for he knew he will get it another time because he will be the photographer of Marguerite. And once that chance came to fruition he will not let it go to waste.
