✰Glimmers POV✰ "Hey dont you think Adora should be back by now?" I asked turning to bow with a worried look on my face "Yeah she's been out for a while oh no do you think something happened to her! Oh nO whAt if sHe was eAten by SomethIng"bow started to panick his voice cracking "BOW! Quit it" I said interrupting Bows sudden out burst of panic But what if he was is right I thought wait no i snapped out of my thoughts no I'm sure she's ok I mean she's Shera right?
I managed to calm bow down enough to convince him she's probably fine but bow insisted we go out to look for her so now here we are in the woods searching for Adora.
Bow keeps looking at his tracker pad to see if he can track Sheras sword since it is first ones tech. I am trying to keep a brave face to not freak bow out but in all seriousness I am scared im so scared Adoras never been gone this long and she would never get lost in the whispering woods she loves this place and yet I still have a bad feeling that something really wrong has happened.
I keep glancing at bow in hope he has found something but everytime my eyes land on his I am filled with disappointment. I can tell that bow is as worried as I am we are all really close and bow really treasures that and he loves are friendship and so do I so I understandwhy he's so worried.
♡︎Bows POV♡︎ I flinch as I feel a hand on my shoulder but instantly relax as I realise it's just glimmer she's giving me a reassuring look I can tell shes worried about me I try not to show how scared I am but Glimmer can see right through me so I give in "I'm really worried glimmer"I look at glimmer as she gives me a warm smile but I can tell its not completely real "So am I bow but we are the best friend squad! We can take on anything" "Yeah, yeah we can" I said feeling a bit better as I have hope we can find Adora.
We have been walking for a while now when my eye catches something blue as I see a pretty flower lying on the ground that's kind of weird I thought something probably just knocked it over my mind started drift off that was one of Adoras favourite colours wait is it is one of her favourite colours I corrected my self. I realized I was over thinking things that was until I saw a handle poking out of a Bush I walked over and looked at it close that's when I realised it was a basket a sudden bad feeling fell over my body like someone had dumped a bucket of ice water over me. That was Adora's basket..
""GLIMMER" I called out but to my surprise she didn't respond "Glimmer?" I said again this time a bit softer I went back through the trees to where we were before and that's when I saw her. Glimmer was sitting on the knees in the grass head held low and she was, crying? "Glimmer! Are you ok what's wrong?" That's when she looked up her eyes were bright red and her nose was stuffie I was about to ask her what's wrong until I saw something red in her hand and it was covered in blood.
✰Glimmers POV✰ I could hear bow behind me he was asking if I was ok but I couldn't bring my self to say anything I looked up at him my eyes stung with tears and i looked back to what i was holding. Adoras jacket. It was covered in blood, her blood. I heard bow gasp as he realised what I was holding and he came to sit next to me and before I knew it he wrapped him arms around me in a tight hug at first I didn't do anything I just sat there then I wrapped my arms around Bow returning the hug neither of us wanted to believe what we had found.
After about 10 minutes I pulled away and saw bow had also found something "What's that?" My voice was week fr ok m crying. Bow couldn't say anything he just held it out, it was Adoras basket and in it was a beautiful blue flower.
~✨𝙵𝙻𝙰𝚂𝙷𝙱𝙰𝙲𝙺✨~ "So how do you like the woods Adora?" Glimmer asked Adoras eyes where wide and sparkling "Oh.My.Gosh ITS BEAUTIFUL! OO what's that ,Ooo what's that" Adora said excitedly as she started pointing to random things Glimmer couldn't help but giggle "If I explain what everything is we will be here for days now come on I want to show you something" Glimmer dragged Adora away from whatever pretty thing she was gawping at. Adora followed Glimmer into an opening in the woods and right in the middle were the most gorgeous flowers Adora had ever seen they were a beautiful blue and smelled amazing Adora quickly ran over to them "Ok these are my new favourite flower"Adora said to Glimmer looking over her shoulder with a huge smile ~✨𝙴𝙽𝙳 𝙾𝙵 𝙵𝙻𝙰𝚂𝙷𝙱𝙰𝙲𝙺✨~
I felt my eyes start to prick with tears again as the memory came back to me "Those were her favourites" I looked up to Bow with a small smile on my face "come on let's get back to brightmoon then we can send a search party out for Adora " I could tell Bow was trying to put on a brave face for me so I gave him a smile in return as we walked back to bright moon with the jacket and basket in hand.
As we walked my head was flooded with every situation that could have happened with Adora but I tried not think of the worst. We were greeted back at bright moon with a bunch of worried rebellion faces "Hey what happened Glimmer?" Perfuma asked in a soft voice I looked at everyone's faces beckoning for an answer yet I couldn't bring myself to say anything "Let's talk about this inside shall we " Bow offered I nodded and we all walked back inside in silence I could tell everyone wanted answers but i do know how I'm going to give them to them.
Alrightyand that is chapter 2! I tried to make this one longerand I am aiming to write about 1000words perchapterfrom now on I hope you enjoyed it !
