Clarissa turns
to see a small girl , trembling with fear , hair in a messed up bun , face drained from exhaustion.
"Ashley?" Clarissa whispers as she approaches her best friend.
"Clarissa , oh my god I thought they took you."says Ashley , as she hugs Clarissa.
"Ashely what's going on? Where is everybody at?"
"Clarissa it was horrible these men just came in ... " Ashley pauses and begins to cry.
"Ashley what happened?" Ask Clarissa while comforting Ashley.
"They took everyone ... they took everybody to the gym , it's men ... 8 men , they have guns. They forced everyone to the gym and anyone who misbehaved or didn't listen they would take them outside and ... I don't know but they never came back." Cries Ashley.
"Oh my god" says Clarissa.
So much for escaping through the gym. The girls stand and hug each other , it's amazing how in just three hours everything can change. Peoples life's turned upside down in the blink of an eye. I guess that's just the world we live in now a days the weak suffer and the strong thrive.
"Did anyone else manage to escape?" Asked Clarissa.
"Yea a couple people Landon from civics , The twins Joshua and John , Mr. Mayback , and I think a couple more kids from my first class. But I don't know for sure and even if they did I don't know where they are." Says Ashley as she begins fixing her hair , letting it out of the bun.
Ashely has long blonde hair it stops in the center of back , Ashley's always loved her hair it was always fixed either curled or straighten.
"Where is everyone at?" Asked Clarissa
"They're all in the main office" says Ashley.
"That's by the science classroom I was just down there? It was full of men." Says Clarissa with a tone of curiosity in her voice.
"They know we're held up in there but I guess they figured a couple of kids locked in a room with one enter acne and one exit isn't going to be a problem. But they don't know Mr. Mayback is with us , hopefully we can keep it that way." Says Ashley.
