"This isn't fair you know that right?" Says Clarissa , as she walks up to her mom.
"Life isn't fair Clarissa but you have to do what has to be done even if you don't like it or agree with it , if you don't go to school you will never get anywhere in life."
*Clarissa rolls her eyes*
"Yea whatever" says Clarissa.
"Now sit down and eat your breakfast you have to walk to school today my car is acting up again , and I don't have the money to fix it right now."
*Clarissa moans and curses under her breath*
"I'm not hungry I'm just gonna go now , bye see you this afternoon." Clarissa says as she avoids her mothers kiss goodbye and walks out the front door onto the driveway. Clarissa begins her journey to school she walks past the neighbors house , and notices they aren't home but it's 6am and they don't usually leave for work until 10am Clarissa remembers from the day she missed due to the flu.
"That's odd" Clarissa whispers.
She brushes her neighbors absence off and continues walking down her street. Her friend Ashely is just leaving with her mother as they back out of their driveway Clarissa hurries to the car. "Hey Ashley , hey mrs G can I have a ride , my moms car broke down again" says Clarissa.
"Sure thing Claire hurry and hop in so we won't be late." says Ashely. Ever since they became friends back in kindergarten Ashley always called Clarissa "Claire" she says it just sounds better.
