POV Anna

"Are you ok?" "Are you hurt?" That's all I heard that day, just because some kid wasn't paying attention. Everyone's acting like I fell of a cliff or something, it wasn't that serious. "I honestly thought that he-...Hey it's that kid" Rachel turned her head to the kid who fell on me earlier, Cody, I'm pretty sure." Hey your the shirtless kid" He stood still and turned his head to us. We stared at each other for a second until he ran off mumbling something, inaudible. Something seemed off but, what do I know.

"Shirtless kid" what an embarrassing name to be called. This school is full of surprises. The time had passed and it was almost 5:00. I grabbed my stuff and walked home.When I walked in the house it was full of people, very much like a party. "Hey Anna, welcome back I forgot to tell you that we were having a get together" My mother always threw parties, or "get togethers" it's basically a party. I don't really think she forgot she just doesn't care. I'll just go to my room then, it's the only place I can really get some space. Not even 10 minutes later someone barged in. " Why don't people ever knock?" " What a rude way of greeting your friend." "Just knock next time." Renee always came over, and my mother just lets her. I don't enjoy having people around me 24/7.

"You don't seem to enjoy having me here." " I'm just tired, can you go home please." Renee looked disappointed but I didn't really care at the moment. "Ok, fine then." She walked out and closed the door behind her, finally alone again. When I checked the clock it had already been 2 hours since I came home, ok time to go. I lifted my window and stepped a foot out onto the roof, it was pretty far down but I was halfway out the window.  Right before I closed the window I grabbed my sweater since I always left it by the window. I have done this before since I hate being here, it's just a thing that's essential to my living. Anyways past that point, when I reached the ground I looked through the window and saw everyone talking. They looked like they were having fun so I was happy for them.

I usually take walks in the neighborhood where ,mostly, kids from my school go. It may seem like the loudest, and it is but never around this time. I'm surprised that it it's almost never loud, but theirs always those kids. Maybe it's becau- what was that noise.? I heard a very familiar noise from when I'm in school. It was like a guitar, a very familiar song too. I look around for a while then I look up and I see, him again? I swear I'm starting to see him way more than I ever did, but that song is so nice. It's so soothing to my ears. I can stay here almost all day, but of course I won't. I never really payed any attention to him because I have no interest in doing band and that seems like he values it a lot, in fact the most. I should get going.

I woke up in my bed, like I do every morning and I started to get ready for school. My mother was no where to be seen, she most likely went to bed in her room instead of the couch. While I was walking to school I met up with Rachel and Renee. " How was your "nap" last night" "It was relaxing." "Of course it was." Rachel was texting at the time and paid no attention to me or Renee. When we stepped inside the school building the principle was staring into the band room, watching them I assume. All of them do their own thing, it's not even them playing together. "Anna, you seem to enjoy watching them too.?" I hadn't realized I was also peaking into the band room. I really couldn't say anything else at the moment so I said what came to my head first. "Oh, yes." " I have a great idea, we should try and convince them to perform?" I looked around looking for an answer but of course there was none. " Are you sure?" " Of course I'm sure, you see how focused they are? Let's go!" "Oh,ok" At that moment the principle walked in and gave me instructions to follow.
