San watched and observed her. She had been there for a year and the start of the second year has begun.

San grew fond of her. He appreciated her. He always saw her help clean up the beach once in a while. But of course, San was too shy to talk to her. Yes, there were other humans there, but she stood out the most. To him at least.

He saw her almost everyday. Sometimes, she would only stay for a short while before disappearing for a few hours and come back. She mostly stayed on the inlet side, where the waters were mostly calm. There were times she'd be on the other side though.

San saw her come come out of the house and his heart raced. She stared walking to the direction of the pier. San followed her, smiling cutely. He wasn't paying attention, and bumped into a huge rock, and a wave came and splashed onto him.

"Oof," San rubbed his sides and arms, quickly catching up to the girl.

Huiying made her way to the pier. She went on a lower level, going down the stairs and put her feet in the salt waters. It was a bit cool. She liked the pier, it had three different levels for the tides. Huiying normally stayed at the lowest one so she could dip her feet in them.

San hid by a pillar under the water and watched her put her feet in the water. She took out a weird large bean, and music played out from it. He was fascinated. San saw her close her eyes and slightly smiled. She inhaled deeply, and looked at her bag and took out something to eat. She looked up and the sky. The girl had set her food down and let her feet play in the water, swishing them, making tiny waves.

San saw her smile, and began lowly singing along with the long bean. If she were a siren, San knew that he definitely fall for her. His heart was already captured by her.

Huiying sang along to the song and swished her feet in the water. She sighed, she would have to get ready for work later. She finished eating her sandwich and grabbed a water bottle to drink, and also cleaned her hands.

Huiying looked back at the ocean before going back to her friend's summer home.

San watched her get up. He followed her, making sure she got back safe before returning to the deeper waters.

"She'll be back before sunset," San muttered to himself. He had watched her for so long, he remembered the times she come back to the beach.

So hey guys, I'm rewriting this book because Oneus situation I already mentioned before taking it down. (because they are featured in this story as Huiying's friends) I'll put it after this chapter and before making the 2nd chapter
