Huiying and her friends had music playing, they laughed and danced. Huiying had taken a few steps back. Huiying felt herself slip on some water, causing her to slip back a bit. She yelped, feelings herself fall over, nothing was close by to grab onto.
"Huiying!" Yena grabs her hand and pulls her up.
"T-thanks," Huiying says in a shaky voice.
"No prob," Yena nods. "Also, we should get back, I heard there was gonna be a storm."
San panicked when he saw her almost fall into the water. He saw the boat turn around. San guessed that they were gonna head back home. So he followed. Hoping that she would be ok.
Huiying had woken up early. All her friends were still asleep.
What a storm... she thought to herself. Huiying went to the backdoor and opened it. Wow the beach is a mess.
Huiying looked around and saw a someone laying down on the beach. But they looked passed out. Huiying gasped. It was the pink haired person who saved her. He's a mermaid?! Huiying thought to herself. I have to get them before anyone sees him!
Huiying put on her sandals and rushed outside to the beach, hoping he wasn't badly hurt.
Huiying ran to him. She turned him around, making him face her. Huiying put his arms around her shoulders and went to the waves. The water was up to her waist. She took the guy off of her and put him in the water, letting the water hit his face.
Huiying slightly shook him. "Hey wake up." His eyes slowly open, blinking a few times. "Are you ok?" He nods. "Enough to swim?" He softly smiles, nodding again. Huiying felt her heart race. He was breath taking. "ok, I'm letting go now." Huiying lets go of him. She felt relief.
"T-thank you," he thanks.
"You're welcome," Huiying smiles. His eyes got curious, he tilted his head. Huiying found the childlike wonder cute.
"You're not afraid of me?" he asks.
Huiying shakes her head. "Uh... was it you who saved me last week?" He nods. "I guess I owe you a thanks as well." San smiles and giggles. Huiying sees his dimples show as he giggles. "If it's ok, what's your name?"
"I'm San," San says swimming a bit closer.
"I'm Huiying," Huiying says getting a bit flustered.
"Oh I know," San blushes. They were finally having a conversation. it made him happy. His heart fluttered.
"Oh... How do you know?" Huiying raises her eyebrow.
San slightly panics, "I was swimming yesterday and I saw you on the boat and I heard someone call you."
Huiying nods. She remembers something, "oh! Sorry I have to go. If my friends see that I'm gone, they'll look for me."
San nods. "Wait, before you go, I want to talk to you again."
Huiying looks at the pier, "let's meet over there tomorrow in the afternoon."
San smiles and nods vigorously. "Ok bye. Get back home safe."
"You too!" Huiying waves at him before San swims away.
San looks back, and saw Huiying looking back too. He could help but smile. On the inside, he was swimming in circles.
"What a strange morning," Huiying says to herself as she steps into the home.
"Why are you all wet?" Xion asks, looking at her, while drinking coffee.
"I tripped," Huiying lied. Keonhee nods. "Anyways, did you hear and feel the storm last night?"
"Not really," Xion says, "I thought I was dreaming it."
"The beach is a complete mess," Huiying says.
"I bet it is," Keonhee's eyebrows furrow.
"Oh, I'm gonna go get changed," Huiying points to the stairs. Xion nods.
Xion watches Huiying leave. Xion watched her go up the stairs, suspicious.
If she tripped, why is her whole bottom half drenched in water? he thought to himself. If she tripped, she would've only had a few patches of water on her clothes... And it's too cold to be swimming...
Xion decided to keep it in mind, but not ask her about it.
"We should clean the beach so it doesn't look nasty," Ruby says to the friends as they eat breakfast.
"And what? Faceplant into the sand?" Hwanwoong says making a face. (Fun fact, one of my sisters faceplanted into the sand once at the beach)
"Sounds like a you problem," Mel says, stealing some of his food. Hwanwoong glares at her. "I hate cleaning."
"Sounds like a you problem," Hwanwoong says back, resulting in getting smacked.
San swims to him and his friends little hideout.
"San where the heck have we been?" Yue asks putting her hands on her hips, "do you know how worried we've been?! We haven't seen you in almost a week!"
"Yue calm down," Hongjoong puts his hand on her shoulders. "We've all were worried, but don't yell."
"You're right," she nods calming down. Then looks at San, "I'm sorry for yelling, but please tell us where you've been."
"I was looking out for a human," San looks down. Knowing that lying would make things worst.
"A human?!" Seonghwa yells. Seonghwa clears his throat, "a human?"
"Is it her again?" Yunho asks.
Everyone looked at Yunho. "What?! What do you mean, again!?"
Yunho had only heard San talk about Huiying from time to time. San had trusted Yunho with it, but now everyone had to know. He had to tell them everything.
