You ran outside with blurred vision from your rapidly falling tears. You felt Leo follow you as you left the diner. It was pouring with rain. You didn't care though. He lied.
You quickly turned around to meet his face, his eyes also filled with tears. The only noise you could hear was the blasting music from the diner and the odd car that pulled into their drive way.
"Why?" You snap
Leo said nothing, instead he just put his head down.
"So it was all just a fucking bet?" You said in a mocking tone
He paced his hands through his now soaked hair, with regret written on his forehead.
"YOU SAID YOU WOULD NEVER LEAVE AND I BELIEVED YOU!" You yell as you bang on his chest
"Yeah...well I guess I lied" he replied as bitter than ever. Wow, it was like he was a completely different person. He turned around and walked back into the diner, dragging his feet on the way.
That hurt like a thousand knives.
