Edolas Lucy POV

"Levy! Hurry up and test it!" I snap, growing impatient. Levy shoots me a glare and continues writing.

"I'm doing the best I can." She says. My eyes roll and then drift toward Natsu, who's cowering in a corner, trying to position himself as far from the barfight as possible.

"J-Juvia-sama!" Gray says, tapping her shoulder. I do a double take. He's only got two jackets on! Juvia sighs and turns to him, obviously annoyed, but stops short at the sight of him not wrapped up in cloth. Gray shivers.

"Go away, Gray." Juvia finally says. Gray sulks his way to Natsu, who greets him with a friendly smile. I move my attention to Natsu's old car, which no longer works.

"Done! I'm going to try to use the electromagnetic transmitters to see if I can trade the molecules in one area for molecules here. Of course, there's always the risk of atomic combustion, but If I calculate it perfectly, we should be able to switch places with air in a totally different place. Okay..." Levy looks through a microscope at the grain of sand she's going to test on, placing it in the exact center of the plate. "Let's see if we can move your atoms to the atoms on the other plate."

I watch diligently as she types into a computer. After losing magic and out archive lacrima, Levy decided to use sunlight and lightning as power sources.

"One last step, and... Ready for testing! Switching molecules in three... two... one..." Levy presses a button and erupts into loud screams. "OH MY GOD IT ACTUALLY WORKED! JET! DROY! IT WORKED! IN YOUR FACE, LUCY!" Hysterical laughter escapes her lips, sounding extra crazy because of the fact that she never laughs. "I'm a genius!"

"Congrats, Levy, you actually did it! I can't believe I'm saying this, but you're really smart!" I gasp after I say that, and Levy cracks a small smile in my direction.

"Thanks, Lucy, that means a lot from you." She says quietly. I nod sharply and turn to my guildmates, looking them all over before facing Levy again with a competitive smile on my face.

"I bet you can't take us to Earthland." I tease. Levy grins and sits back down, typing so quickly I can barely follow her fingers.

"Of course I can. You're always wrong, Lucy." She says. I watch carefully while she grows more and more interested in the project, always looking for a challenge.

"Nah, you're the one who's not smart enough to do it." I say. Levy glares at me, growing more competitive by the second.

"I might have to skip over your atoms when I move us there." She teases. I glare jokingly at her.

It might seem strange to anyone else, but after Earthland left, we weren't as hateful toward each other. Sure, we still glare and tease and insult, but it's nothing like we were before. Levy jots down her calculations and switches to a different tab, adding in variables and backup energy options.

"Are you ready?" She asks. I nod once, and she presses a button. I feel like I'm being seperated from myself, but not in a painful way. It's like when you peel glue off of your skin, except it's inside of me. I can't see or hear anything, just flat blackness, and then, like I'm waking up, everything appears much too quickly, and the sound booms way too fast into my ears. I press my fingers gently to my head as a throbbing pain swells up, and the last thing I see before I faint is a girlier version of me.
