CHAPTER 7: A normal work day

POV Loona ~ Woke me up from the light between my curtains. I lay with my head against Octavia's shoulder. Tonight was awful. I got up slowly. Everything felt weak and I was very hot. I looked at my clothes, everything was covered in sweat. I also had muscle aches so I decided to take a shower. When I finished I walked back to my room to wake up Octavia. ~ Psst, Octavia, are you awake? Hm, uh, yeah. How do you feel after tonight Loona? It's okay. You really need to see a doctor, it was not normal. Ugh, you're right. I am starting to get concerned about my complaints. Do you experience this every night? Yup, getting heavier every night. Honey, why don't you stay home today? You can't work like that. I have to, I'll make breakfast and then I'll go. Do you want some too? No thanks, I never eat breakfast. Okay then, I'm going downstairs. Will I see you this afternoon? Yes, see you this afternoon!
~ I walk downstairs and eat some cereal. After I finished I walked to work. I really didn't feel like it after tonight, but I have to make money. I don't want Blitzø to worry about me. When I arrived I walked in to my office. I started some work on a laptop and helped imps on the phone ... or yes ... help ... half. I got a headache from the screen and felt that I had to throw up. I felt really sick. Moments later, Blitzø came in to check on me. ~ Hey, how's my favorite Loonie doing? Blitzo asked with cute puppy eyes. It's okay. Are you sure? You look tired. I'm fine, just let me work. Okay then, but come to me if you need me. ~ Blitzo left me alone and I try to focus on work. I couldn't handle the screen anymore, it gave me an extreme headache. I decided to go downstairs for a drink in the hope that my headaches would go away. I wanted to grab a smoothie from the fridge but that Smoothie clearly had a note saying '' DO NOT TOUCH '' but I didn't pay any attention to that and just took the smoothie and took it upstairs. I try to focus on work again, no matter how difficult it was for me. Finally after a long day of IT work I walked back home. I opened the front door but I read a note from Octavia. "I just went shopping, dinner was finished." I was glad Octavia had thought about shopping, because I have not prepared for dinner yet. Suddenly I felt a tapping on my shoulder. I looked back, it was Vortex. ~

Hey Loona, I ran into your friend in town. She said you had a terrible night. Why didn't you call me? Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up, but don't worry about me. I'm worried Loona, please see a doctor. Listen, I'll go to the doctor if I'm not doing well, I promise. All right, did you get off work? Yes, Octavia is still running errands so I'm home alone now. Shall we hang out together otherwise? Vortex asked. I want to, just I don't really intend to leave. I'm really tired. Don't worry, we can chill here. We'll leave some other time. ~ I let in Vortex and we sat together on the couch while I turned on the TV. While watching TV I noticed that Vortex started to gently rub my legs. It actually felt quite nice. Not much later Octavia came in with some bags of groceries. ~ Hey Loona, I'm back ... oh, I didn't know you had a visitor. Would you like to help me unpack and prepare the food? I'm coming girl, thanks for buying food. Don't worry, it was cheap. Can I help with anything? Vortex asked. No that is not necessary. Do you want to stay for dinner? Octavia asked politely. Oh yes, why not. Vortex says, smiling. ~ Meanwhile, me and Octavia were cleaning up groceries and preparing food. While I was cutting the vegetables, Octavia was frying meat. When we were done I set the table and told us that we could join the table ~ Nicely cooked ladies, that looks good! Thank you Vortex, the food is prepared with love. I said. Just as my love is prepared for you. Vortex says flirtatiously. Wait, are you guys dating? Octavia asked curiously. Nahh, I was just joking. Vortex said. ~ Ouch, that hurt quite a bit inside. I was happy with his first comment, but if it was just a joke, I don't like it very much. I thought to myself. ~ Well ladies, let me do the dishes. Vortex says. Are you sure? I asked. Yes ofcourse! Have a rest, you have done enough. ~ When Vortex started doing the dishes I decided to join Vortex in the kitchen while Octavia went to the living room and watched TV on the couch. Me and Vortex were happily chatting until he gently put his hands on my hips. We started to shuffle a bit. I wanted to go with the flow right now, so I put my arms over his neck. We looked each other in the eye and shuffled quietly back and forth. Vortex turned up the jazz music on the radio and we started holding our bodies together. We enjoyed our company in the kitchen and we decided to grab a glass of wine. Vortex filled the glasses with red wine, and put a wine glass between my lips. All sips of red wine quietly landed in my throat, but still I spilled it on my shirt. ~ Oops, now your shirt is wet. Vortex says with a defiant look. Could happen, then just a wine stain on this shirt. I want to help you take your shirt off. Vortex says jokingly. Haha, you do! I said laughing. ~ We were a little tipsy from the wine that me and Vortex started to flirt with each other. He deliberately poured more drops of wine over my neck so that he could give me sucking licks on the neck. I didn't mind this at all, it felt great. I didn't care that we were just friends. Eventually Octavia walked into the kitchen but we didn't realize it. ~ Well, it's going well here. Octavia says with a chuckle. Oh, we didn't realize you were looking. It's fine, I know you enjoy him. Smiles Octavia with a defiant look. Shut up bitch! I said laughing as I threw a tea towel at her head. Well ladies, it was fun, but I have to go again. Says Vortex half tipsy. Okay Vortex, when do we meet again? Tomorrow or something? Vortex asked. I have to work tomorrow, but I can come in the evening. I'll just pick you up from work so we can hang out. That's fine, I'll see you tomorrow. I said as I hugged Vortex and led him to the door. ~ I closed the door and walked into the living room and sat next to Octavia on the couch ~ Well girl, you had a good time with him, wasn't it? Octavia says with a chuckle. Shut up girl! I said laughing as I threw a pillow at Octavia. I bet you're gonna have sex with him tomorrow. Shut up, nothing is going to happen between us! I said laughing but blushing. Ooh, what would sex with Vortex be like if he had a bubble bath? WET! We called out laughing. So .. are you dating or are you just friends with benefits? I do not know. He just started to touch me and I just went with the flow. Oehh, okay! Don't you mind if I get home late tomorrow night? Nahh enjoy it girl you finally got some kind of boyfriend. Okay then. Do you know when you will go back to your father? No, I don't know. Well girl, I'm going upstairs to change. I'm cold. Okay Loona, will you bring my charger too please? Yes, don't worry. ~ I walked upstairs to put on my thick pajamas. Again I felt dizzy and I really thought I was going to pass out. I held on to the bathroom sink. I felt like I was going to throw up. Eventually I saw everything blurry again and fell to the ground. ~

POV Octavia

~ I was downstairs watching TV waiting for my charger.

Suddenly I heard a very loud bang. I ran upstairs and saw Loona lying on the ground. Loona, are you okay? I shouted worried. I knelt next to Loona and looked at her in shock. I just decided to call an ambulance, this is not normal anymore. While I was calling the ambulance I checked Loona. She was still unconscious. 20 minutes later an ambulance was at the front door and I let them in. I quickly walked upstairs with the ambulance workers and Loona sat up slowly. What had happened ma'am? One of the ambulance workers asked. I passed out, everything got dizzy. Loona says softly. We're going to check your blood, is everything okay? Another ambulance worker asked. I'm fine. Loona says softly. Not true Loona, you are not doing! I shouted worried. You have been bad for days! You also had a violent seizure last night! Your blood temperature is normal. Says a doctor. We want you to come along for a scan and other checks. The other doctor says gently. Okay then, Octavia, are you staying here? I'll be back soon. Good..goodluck! Thanks, don't stay up for me. I have the key.
