Chapter 10

the time is skipped two weeks ok from the time being hope and Josie has been the glued to the hips. Josie realized she never clicked like this with someone before so fast and so does hope.

Lizzie now knows how Josie feels about being the third wheel not being free. It became a routine for hope and Josie to play the piano before hope goes on a run.

Hope has been having nightmares and hasn't been getting any sleep so she is tired for half of the day. Of not being able to save the one she loves or even what happened with how she needed up being here. But decides not to let anybody know what's happening with her mostly hoping that she isn't waking anybody up.

She talks to her mom and dad every day like the promise they made before they left. Even tells them how she has been really happy and how she is glad to come down here for the summer.

Josie has been super happy since hope came. Whenever she talks about hope her whole world light up like she is the only thing happening. Like she is the only one that matters in this room.

Lizzie noticed of course cause she is her twin.

Hope also met the squad as in Kaleb, Jed, and Raf, but didn't meet in person they met online.

(We all know it's the thrift store hobbit or firebird)but we don't talk about it.

Also, time is night right now but time check it is 3-6 in the morning

Hope POV
I woke up panicking in full sweat mode trying to gasp for some air. I have been having the same nightmares since it all happened.

So I got out of bed and went downstairs. But before I go downstairs I change my shirt and shorts and grabbed my sketchbook

I look at the kitchen I see a figure. I see Josie so I ask her why she is up. She just told me that she couldn't sleep.

I said ok she asked me why am I up right now I told her it was the same reason just couldn't sleep.

After a while of just staring at each other, I notice fireflies and this beautiful butterfly.

I grabbed Josie's hand before we got outside I told her to close her eyes and stick out her hand. She asked why I just told her to do it and do she trusted me.

I caught a firefly and put it in Josie's hand then told her to open her eyes. While I see her reaction I started sketching the butterfly, firefly, and Josie.

I just now realized how happy I am to meet Josie.
We talked for the rest of the night by the time we notice the sun was rising. I just felt like I could do this forever if I really could and wanted to.

I was watching it when I felt a hand reach out for mine so without looking down I grabbed Josie's hands and intertwine them with mine.

I guess she looks surprised by my action cause she looks shocked and then turns into a goofy smile that I think is my new favorite thing to see.

Josie POV- before all that ^

I couldn't sleep so I went to get some milk to try and go to sleep. I get scared when I have seen a figure come down the stairs.

I soon realized it was hope she looks so tired but like I don't know. Hope asked me why am I up. I told her I just couldn't sleep which was true cause I had a lot on my mind that was stopping me from sleeping.

I just ask her why she was up she said the same thing as just couldn't sleep.

We were just staring at each other until hope grabs my hand and drags me outside. She tells me to close my eyes and pull out my hand. I was confused and said no.

But she said do I trust her of course I trust hope even though it's been a short time. So I did what she said next thing you know I felt something in my hands move.

She tells me to open my eyes I see a firefly I'm just there with a smile after me holding a firefly. I see hope sketching a butterfly and firefly. But I see something else but I couldn't tell what.

After that, we just talked until the sun started to rise. When the sun was rising I started to grab hope's hands I thought she would pull away.

But she didn't pull instead she pulls my hand and intertwined them I was surprised by the action and just started to smile like crazy.

But this is like something normal we would do and we just sat there in silence.

Omg I'm so sorry I ended the chapter like this...ok like maybe not you know this was a lot ok but the next chapter there will be a little Landon POV I'm letting you know I'm going to have trouble writing his POV and the next chapter and everything else but it's cool cause why not.
