Tsukasa and I have been together for months, now. Living in a stone world isn't easy, but it's manageable. Lately, I've been feeling really sick, but I've been shrugging it off.

Currently, I am taking one of my morning walks. Every step I take seems to hurt me more than the last. I come across a small pond, and decide to take a break there. Sitting down, I feel nauseous. With my feet in the water, I rest my hand on my stomach. Then I feel it. A feeling I have never felt before. A kick. Time seems to stop. Suddenly the sickness makes sense. A million thoughts seem to run through my head. Was it in my head? Is it really what I think it is? Can I handle this? How will Tsukasa feel? Will he be happy? Am I really pregnant? I feel tears stream down my face. Whether it's happy tears or anxious tears, I am unsure.

I sit at the pond for another 20 minutes, thinking. Finally, I decide the best thing to do is to tell Tsukasa, despite my anxious feelings. I splash some of the cold water on my face, and begin my walk back. My walking speed is slower, and I make a few stops ever couple minutes. My nausea multiplies by the second due to anxiety.

Our base is in my vicinity, after what felt like hours. I take a few deep breaths, and start looking for Tsukasa. It doesn't take long before I find him. As I get closer, my body starts feeling more tense. It doesn't take long before he notices I'm approaching. "Ah, (y/n). It's great to see you," He says, then gets up to hug me. Of course, I hug back without hesitation. "How have things been?" I ask, trying to calm my nerves.

"Things have been normal. Nothing big has happened today," He reaponds in his normal, calming voice.

I take another deep breath, and say, "I... Actually have some news." He gives me a questioning look. That's when the panic catches up. It's as if my throat clogs up. My hands start to slightly shake, but it's still enough for him to notice. "(Y/n)? What is the matter?" He pulls me into another hug.

"I... I uh..." I start to trip over my words. My voice shakes more with ever noise I make. He pets my hair, and reassures me. "(Y/n), please calm down. Whatever it is, I promise not to be upset. You're my partner, and I love you." My nerves go down, and I finally muster the courage to tell him.

"Tsukasa..." I say, voice still shaking. He gives me his undivided attention. "I..." I take a long, deep breath. "I'm pregnant." He looks at me, surprised. I start to worry again. "Are you certain?" He asks. I nod. "On my walk today, I felt a kick. It also perfectly explains the sickness I've felt for a while now." I look at the ground, every negative response going through my head. He stays silent for a moment, then says, "(Y/n)..." I look up at him.

"I promise, even in this stone world, I will do anything and everything in my power to give you, and our child, a happy life. It doesn't matter who I have to defeat, or who I have to spare, I will protect both of you. I am happy, and very excited for our future. Thank you for telling me. I love you." Tears stream down my face once more. This time, I know for sure that they're happy tears. Without a second thought, I throw my arms around him. "I love you too, Tsukasa. I promise, I, as well, will make sure our child has a great life," I say, smiling. We spend a long time, just holding each other. He softly pets my hair, leaving a small kiss on my head every now and again.

After a while, we seperate. He looks at the ground for a second, then back at me. "You, I want you to do whatever you can to keep yourself and the baby safe, healthy, and happy. Me and everybody else will prepare for the birth," He says. I nod in response, and smile. "Thank you.." He smiles, and kisses me. I kiss back. The kiss doesn't last very long, but it's enough to satisfy.
