Jungkook went to bed like he normally does and Dahyun still awkwardly don't want to go to bed beside him more that it is in his room now. "Is there a problem?" He asked, Dahyun shook her head. She just slowly sat on the edge of his bed, Jungkook is not even her husband... She's still unsure if they are dating or the word for "trying" is just to act sweet in front of everyone around them especially their son. "Here." Jungkook tapped the space beside him. Dahyun slowly moved beside him, her phone suddenly starts ringing. "Who is it?" Jungkook asked. "Uhm, J-Jeongyeon eonni..." She answered the call.
("Hello, Dahyun? Can we see each other?") Jungkook's phone suddenly starts ringing too. He excused himself,
Dahyun went to the living room and saw Jungkook. "She wants us to meet, I will just go see her tonight." Jungkook hang up the phone. "Jimin wants to talk about something too." Dahyun rubbed her arm. "Maybe we should bring them both here, Jimin's on his way." Dahyun nodded. "She's still waiting for a cab." Dahyun informed. Jimin arrived first. "What's happening?" Jungkook asked him. "I'll leave the both of you alone." Dahyun excused herself. Jungkook and Jimin went to the second floor, "Do you have a drink?" Jimin asked him. "So you want to get drunk in here?" Jimin just keep looking down. "What's wrong, spill the tea." Jungkook gave him a bottle of beer. "Only one bottle and that's it." Jungkook said. "Bro, this is embarrassing." Jimin let out a shakey breath. "What's embarrassing? Going here in the middle of the night because your wife and you fought?" Jimin looked out the glass down and saw Dahyun letting Jeongyeon in, Jungkook also saw them. "She has now all the right to cry." Jimin muttered. Dahyun hugged Jeongyeon while crying.
"Just tell me." Jungkook encouraged him. "Bro, we tried... I am just so stupid." Jimin shook his head. "I can't..." Jimin sipped on the beer. "I can't give her a child." He said. "What do you mean?" Jimin sniffled. "I'm infertile, the last time we did try was six months ago and it never happened again."
"You're— when did you found out?" Jungkook asked. "Two years ago, after three years of marriage I went to my doctor. He told me I can't have a baby, Jeongyeon just found out just this night because I never told her." Jungkook couldn't believe what Jimin was saying. "It is really stupid when I could also feel from her that she doesn't want it but she has all the urge to get mad." Jimin gripped onto the bottle of beer. Jimin's tears fell, "I'm sorry." He cried.
Jungkook remembered what he told him that he loves Jeongyeon. "Maybe it's better to end this between us, we've never been happy since we got married, it feels like it's all a lie. I've been swimming in a pool of lies for five years and I'm tired staying on top just to save us, save me."
