("Miss Kim, I already recommended you to a big company. Please apply to them, there will be a big possibility that they could negotiate with my artists if you did. I didn't really want to let you go but it was your decision, if you do not want to apply to them then come back to us.") Her boss called her and offered to her to apply to a new job. But she also thought that here goes people again, they are using Dahyun again for them to have a big connection from a big company. But she also has to make a living. "I'll think about it sir." She hang up and sighed. Her papers are all ready, she's always prepared everytime she resigns from companies that she worked with. Every company that she left, she always come up with reasons why she has to leave them, also the reason why she's always prepared because she couldn't think well to get a new job by fixing her papers, she'll just end up jobless for a long time. Like when her foster parent died and everything came back to her, she was jobless for five months and spent half a million of her mom's money and soon realized she wasn't supposed to continue being like that so she worked for a whole year to bring her mom's money back, completed it and saved for herself.
After a week of resting in her apartment, Dahyun decided to pass her resume and requirements applying to the said company that her boss is talking about. She sent it through email, everything, the details about her and not expecting for them to contact her for an interview or whatever. She'll accept it if the company rejects her application, but it didn't. She immediately received a feedback from the company after a few hours, but to a different location. "Am I not being fooled again? Seoul? Seriously?" She stared at the company's logo. "You're not working here anymore so it's fine." She nodded.
She called the company and it is true that the company that needs an employee is from Seoul. She's been finding jobs for months and she's still not sure if she's going to be hired from it. Dahyun still has to take the risk and said yes to the company,
"I'm sorry Ms. Kang. I have to go." Dahyun packed her things again. "Seoul is a big city, I hope you could find a new better place to stay there and take care." Ms. Kang smiled at her before leaving. Dahyun took a deep breath and wasted no time to go to Seoul again. She asked for a time from the company she's applying to because she still has no place to stay.
"You're a student?" The land lady asked her after Dahyun searched for her apartment online. "W-working." She answered. "Ah, I prefer students but since you're alone and now working, it's better. Here's the vacant unit." The landlady opened a door in the second floor. Dahyun looked around and it's a simple unit, "This will be ₩160,000 every month. And I am requiring every new tenants to pay one month advance." The landlady explained. "By the way I am Choi Minji. Just call me Miss Choi, and you?" She asked. "I'm Kim Dahyun." Dahyun introduced. "Okay Dahyun, enjoy your stay here in my apartment building." Ms. Choi smiled. "Thank you, I'll just transfer my pay in your account Ms. Choi."
"Good, I'll go ahead." Dahyun bowed and entered the apartment. She immediately transfer fund to the land lady and looked around, there are three rooms in the apartment and she's alone. Dahyun moved her things in the bedroom and contacted the company that she's having her interview tomorrow. She sighed and rested on the empty bed, "Is this really the right thing to do? I still have to buy something for this place. Maybe no need? I don't think I could stay in one place long that's not mine."
Dahyun rushed fixing herself for an interview to a one of the biggest company in Korea. 'Big Hit Entertainment Labels'. She got up early and prepared for it because she knows people in Seoul are busy, she got a little early and the company just opened the moment she arrived there. The building almost reached the clouds while Dahyun was looking at it before entering. She's afraid of heights and the interview is from the 40th floor, crazy for every applicants. Dahyun just kept her eyes shut while the elevator moves up, it's hell high and you could see the view outside because it is glass. She continued breathing so fast. "Are you okay? You're very early." Dahyun didn't notice that someone is with her inside. She doesn't care if she look stupid anymore, she just want to get off the elevator and she did when it opened to the 40th floor. The guy who asked her also got off the same floor and walked ahead of her, Dahyun read all the signs and door names until she saw the room that she's looking for.
