Well I've a big old heart, this I know for sure, but I don't know what my love is for. I should know by now.
Well it's hard to find a reason, when all you have is doubts, hard to see inside yourself when can't see your way out, hard to find an answer when the question won't come out...
Everyone's filling me up with noise, I don't know what they're talking about
You see all I need's a whisper in a world that only shouts.
Whispers; Passenger

{Zayn's POV}
We arrive at the ER room doors and head inside, Perrie walking beside me, the pain in her side obviously hurting a lot more than she wants to admit. I'd hate to have a shard of i- Phone glass in my side. It's not massively big but I don't know how deep it is?
We get to the counter and the nurse behind it smiles. "Hi. She has a shard of glass coming out of her side." I tell the nurse pulls an 'ouch' face, coming around and showing Perrie off to a little zone. I follow behind and get offered the chair as the nurse gets to work. I watch her carfeully cut Perrie's white t- shirt and then start working on her side whilst I just sit and watch.
I was an absolute asshole. I shouldn't have gone ahead and flirted with Zoe on purpose to annoy Perrie. And I know the photos on that magazine weren't anywhere near what they looked like, but once again the media blew it all up. I just wish I would stop fucking Perrie around. I need to learn to be a better guy if I ever want to have Perrie again.
I watch Perrie flinch as the nurse pulls out the glass. Oh fuck. That's a deep cut. I look into Perrie's panicked looking blue eyes. I just give her a small smile to reassure her that its okay and she nods back.
"I'm guessing we're going to need about five stitches for this one." The nurse tells Perrie and panic is flooded across her face. The nurse collects everything and then threads the needle. I watch Perrie's hand shoot out and I walk over, sitting next to her on the edge of the bed and holding her hand.
The nurse pushes the numbing needle into Perrie's side and she's fine with that one, I just think she's more worried about having the nurse sweing her up. I just sit there as Perrie squeezes my hand and her face scrunches up during the procedure.

I pay for Perrie's fixing up, much to Perrie's annoyance and we head back out to the car, Perrie now wearing my jumper that's too big for her, but makes her look a bit like a penguin. The sleeves too long and forming wings and the jumper dropping down around her thighs. The jumper is big on me, so imagine it on Perrie...
We get to the car and Perrie jumps into the passenger seat whilst I get into the driver's seat. We're going to have to head back to Harry and Jade's, and I'm kind of hoping now it's an hour and a half after the fight, Liam and Sophia have left.
As we drive along I notice Perrie looking at me. When I look at her she looks back at the road and I reach my left hand out, placing it on her thigh and rubbing it gently. Perrie doesn't push my hand away, which is a good sign right? I feel bad she got hurt. Sophia should've been the one with glass in her side.
"Are you okay?" I ask Perrie.
"Yeah. I'm all stitched up!" She replies with a hint of enthusiasim and I chuckle a little at her adorableness.
"I mean with everything else." I tell her, moving my hand from her thigh so I can turn the corner. I hear Perrie sigh and then out of the corner of my eye she shrugs, moving a bit of loose hair out of her face.
"I just got jealous. I was overeacting to what you were doing, I shouldn't have been rude to you," Perrie admits and I feel a spark as she admits she was jealous, meaning she cares right? "But I don't think there was anything wrong with what I did to Sophia. She deserved it." Perrie tells me with sass and I chuckle.
"You have a pretty kick ass punch." I tell her as we round another corner. Perrie laughs and I just smile at how weird her laugh is. So gorgeous though. "Mind you, from what I gathered, from what you were yelling, she deserved it." I tell Perrie my honest opinion. "You were referring to the whole telling you to stay away thing right?" I ask Perrie, glancing at her quickly.
"Yeah! For sure." Perrie replies. "I did what you said. Didn't give her another bullet for her gun." Perrie tells me proudly and I let out a small cheer, making Perrie laugh a little.
"Hey, I'm sorry for being an ass. At the park I was just trying to be friendly to Zoe, let her have a chance and not go off her sister. But then at the house, that was just asshole- ish of me. Sorry." I apologise to Perrie.
"It's okay." She replies and then the car goes back to silence until we arrive back at Harry and Jade's. We head up to the door and hear chatter from the lounge room. I lead Perrie back into the lounge and when we enter everyone goes quiet, including Liam and Sophia. Sophia has an icepack on her face and I am aware she got a blood nose from the punch. Her nose will probably bruised too. Which is kinda cool for Perrie's sake.
"Hey Per, you okay?" Liam asks her and I notice Sophia next to him shooting Perrie daggers. Zoe is doing the exact same thing to me but I just roll my eyes, looking away from her. I'm not even interested in her the slightest bit.
"Yeah, thanks." Perrie replies to Liam. Yeah! She's perfectly fine! Not injured at all.
"Five stitches." I tell everyone and their eyes bulge a little, some mouths open up in shock. Niall lifts up the jumper Perrie's wearing and looks at the clear bit of sticky plastic they put over the stitched up cut.
"Eww!" Niall pulls a disgusted face and Louis whacks him. "I mean, oww." Niall corrects himself and we all laugh, including Perrie who smiles at him. Niall just wriggles his eyebrows. "Still owe me a Nando's wrap." Niall reminds Perrie and she just sighs. I roll my eyes at the blonde Irish boy. Oh Niall.
"Hey Sophia, I'm sorry for attacking you, and punching you. It wasn't right." Perrie apologises to Sophia who just replies with 'thanks', not apologising back. Perrie goes and picks up her phone and we decide collectively that it's probably time to leave.
We all collect our belongings and then head out to the cars. I watch Perrie heading over to hers and jog over, just catching her before she hops inside.
"Sure you're okay?" I ask her, not referring to her cut but to how she emotionally is at the moment. I'd hate to think she's hurting more than she's letting off.
"Yeah Zayn, I am thanks," Perrie replies, holding onto her car door that is in between the two of us. "I just think it's best if we take a break from each other. I really need to sort out what's going on for me, and I think you should do that too. I really care about you and you're a great guy, but we're only bringing each other down. We need space." Perrie explains and I nod my head, agreeing and ignoring the pain.
"Okay. See you." I say to Perrie and she gives me a small smile before getting into her car. I get into my car and buckle up, turning the ignition on. I pull out of Harry and Jade's drive, behind Perrie and follow her down the street. Perrie indicates right and I indicate to turn left. Seperate paths it is. One day at a time.
