Chapter 2~

(Cuphead’s POV)

I was working an overnight shift that night, I couldn’t make it home so I fell asleep in the area they gave us to sleep in. The next day one of my friends woke me up.

“Cup! There’s a meeting, come on!,” said Felix, shaking me awake.

“Ok ok! I’m up!”, I said, chuckling. I put my shoes on and walked to the room where all us nurses went to discuss different topics on how to make the facility better for our patients. I have never gotten the chance to take care of one though. Felix and I got to our seats where we met up with Oswald and Fanny.

“I wonder what’s going on,” Fanny said to us.

“Maybe they might add something to one of the floors,” Oswald suggested.

“Whatever it is, I hope it’s something good”, I said.

Soon the head of the facility came into the room quieting us down.

“Well I bet you guys know why we’re here, we’ve received two new patients this week so I’ll be choosing two nurses to take care of each.” He said.

I crossed my fingers, I really wanted to do it, all my friends have done it and are still doing it, Oswald takes care of his brother Mickey, who has a disease that caused him to lose his sight. Felix and Fanny take care of children who also have lost their sight. 

“So there are two patients, Betty Beretta and Bendy Drew. So I’ll choose Dot to take care of Miss Beretta and-,” he said, looking around.“And Cuphead. I’ll assign you to take care of Mr. Drew,” he said. “The rest of you can go now, but I have to speak with you privately Cup,”

The other got up and left while my friends congratulated me, they all left to their posts and I was alone in the room with my boss.

“I hope you do well Cup but don’t go in just now. Someone is going to visit him in a bit,” he said, giving me a file with all his information.

I nodded and left the room going to go get my things ready.

(Back to Bendy’s POV)

I woke up and went to turn on the radio. It was the only thing that kept me busy. Soon there was another knock on the door, I thought it must have been Boris.

“Come in.” I said.

The door opened and the sound of heels entered. I think I knew exactly who it was. 

“Hello Bendy.”, a sweet voice said.

“Angelcakes you finally came…,” I said.

“How are you feeling?,” she asked.

“Better now that you're here..,” I replied.

“Look Bendy, I came to tell you something important.” she said in a serious tone.

I was getting a bad feeling in my gut but let her continue.

“I came to tell you...that...I’m leaving you.” she said.

I froze. She wasn’t serious...was she?..

“W-what do you mean you're leaving me?..,” I asked.

“It’s nothing personal but I can’t be with someone who can’t see me or who can’t control what they're doing.” she said. “And plus. I guess it’s finally time you knew....I’ve been seeing someone else.”

My heart sank as tears filled my eyes. “Alice how could you do this to me!? We’ve been dating for two years now!”, I yelled. 

“I’m sorry Bendy. But it’s over.” she said. With that she got up and left the room slamming it shut.
